Forestella performed a song called “ A story sadder than sadness” in Feb on Immortal songs. Unfortunately the title is in Korean, so you don’t notice it. The video was posted on Feb 24th 2024. They performed as a trio since Ko Woorim is in the military. You will love it . It tears into your soul.

Excellent reaction! This performance also touched me so much! I used to listen to it everyday for several months. “ Till” was originally sung by Shirley Bassey in 1960’s . Patti Kim performed a Korean version of it. It was one of her early songs. Forestella made it magical.

Such a beautiful song right? It’s an old classic from the 50’s originally by a Frenchman and then rewritten in English made popular again by Percy Faith in January of 1957. The song I grew up listening to in my home was released by the Frenchman Lucien Lupi in 1956. But in South Korea, Patti Kim, the lovely silver-haired lady they keep showing here, made it famous in Korea singing it in Korean I believe.

Ahhhh! I have NEVER, in my life, heard an amazing quartet like Forestella, nor have I ever heard a bass singer like Woorim. So deep yet so gentle. The dynamics, his breath control, his vibrato. ❤❤❤❤

They are one-of-kind, that is for sure. I love them all individually and together. Woorim worked really hard since co-founding Forestella with the other 3 on Phantom Singer 2 in 2017 at the age of 22 ( his real age then .. not the Korean age of 23 as d.o.b = 10/7/1995) to improve and expand his vocal agility and versatility to be able to tackle the more contemporary material that he and his Forestella brothers love to perform. It’s so rare to have a basso profundo voice and even more rare to have the beautiful modulated vocals and expanded range that Woorim has been self-developing over the last 7 years. It’s been a privilege to watch how he has matured musically over the years with his fellow members by his side supporting him as he in return supports them. I loved getting to have a peek at what interests him musically these days when he had his first solo concert last October. I’ve yet to experience the same wonder with another basso profundo singer. He is a rare talent….and a really nice human too..just like MinGyu, HyungHo and DooHoon.❤️

@@hildommar I agree. Thanks to his hard work and of course with the help of his brothers, he has turned into an excellent, versatile vocalist. I love classical music and opera, but since I've discovered Forestella, it's like my musical dream has come true. They are truly unique and became part of my daily life. These gentlemen are my angels of music.
