@yugiohgx5dslvr they kinda do get a happy ending. Ahiru and Fakir stay by each other's side forever. Seeing how they are in love what more can you ask for even if she's in a duck form she still is by the person she cares for so deeply.

I wanted her to turn back to a girl also and end up with fakir so there would be a happy ending for both couples. I kinda did not like the ending I kinda did find it unfair. Of course the witch gets a good ending which did not amuse me but like Kitty-san said Rue did go through a lot of unhappiness which is true. I also rely on fanfictions and fan vids. For some reason I WANT A SECOND SEASON! I know there will not be one. But just loved this anime so much that I want more episodes!!!
