I don't why some Korean fans do not think highly of her. But to her international fans, she's unique and she truly values the fans. Why? She could have quit RM even earlier because you know how actors want to stay mysterious and vague about their personalities. Our Mongji is not afraid to show her true self. This is true beauty inside and out. Other so-called Hallyu stars never appeared in variety shows after getting famous and these actors do not realize it is one way of getting connected to fans to see how they are apart from the persona they project from the kdrama and movies. They didn't give a chance for fans to get to know them even through variety shows because they are scared of the backlash, get laughed at and afraid to show who they really are. If you have nothing to hide why get scared? So what if you are hailed in Korea as the most beautiful? Don't you think that is selfish after all who buys all these cosmetics, branded bags, pieces of jewelry (among others) they are promoting? They're all hiding from their IG posts pretending to care and get engaged. Keep yourself together fans. Not all actors post & writes in their own IG or FB (there are people who do this for a living). I have so much respect for actors who are living both world (acting and variety shows). It means they have this much talent and love for their fans! So think carefully of those stars you support and see the true sincerity. Song Ji Hyo is one great person and lady! She deserve the best of the best.

I appreciate & respect how she is true to herself, seems to feels comfortable in the skin she is in, and doesn't bow to the overwhelming pressure to dress up in a stereotypical "actress" manner. Like he pointed out on here, she hasn't gotten more self conscious and felt pressured to behave/dress certain ways that are outlandishly different from her personality as her personality has grown...It's as if she has dug her feet into the ground to make sure she stays as down to earth as possible while being an actress.
