its so weird because people like wilbur and james marriot sound really good and play their instruments and stuff but dreams stuff feels so fake like yeah hes singing and writing but everything else is so weird yk

i understand that. personally i feel like, with lovejoy/wilbur and james, you have projects that take groups of people that take a lot of energy, time, focus, and emotion. but with dream, it feels like he's pandering and trying to be relatable while going on youtube and finding royalty free beats. sometimes that works, sometimes it doesn't, y'know?

I attended Dream's 1st show in LA, and wow it was definitely not what I was expecting at all. In all honesty I originally was just going for the joke of it, wanting to see the cringe show of a Minecraft KZbinr. But then the fans, who waited hours in line while trading bracelets & talking about his music like it was a Taylor Swift show, were so incredibly excited to see his show. They put in so much energy during his performances, even when it was clear he wasn't used to be on stage or when things went wrong. Honestly the fans kind of saved the whole show, I was not expecting it at all

I find it funny how it is branded as a tour. If it were a tour, he would go to multiple places. This was just a single gig he set up for himself lol.

with stage presence and his singing just sounds like hes doing a school presentation,, theres no passion or emotion in his voice. its just like listening to like idk an alien try to sing ? genuinely painful and embarrassing to hear for me personally , I just enjoy music a lot so thats my thoughts on his music, great video btw !

I think like anyone else he has room for improvement. He definitely is a beginner. But it takes time. So we’ll have probably a few more awkward “tours”.
