But thats how reality korean "beauty standard" worked in korea which is "typical idol" must have thin, white tone and cute body. Like how you see in other girl group. Which is why im a little grateful to RBW company (mamamoo agency) where they keep protect and keep these "woman". In other agency especially big kpop agency, there is no place for you to be "an idol" if you have body and face like hwasa. Back then it was harsh and cruel, but i hope they change in the future. I don't know how long you had been into KPop at the point of this video... But ther Korean Beauty Standards, are very ingrained in SK and KPop. To the point that many Idols under go Plastic Surgery, which is WAY too normalized in SK. I'm not against people getting PS, but it's still SURGERY, and shouldn't be taken lightly. There shouldn't be any shaming done, but on the other hand it shouldn't be like putting on make up. KBS is insane and unhealthy, by any measure.
