Dayseeker has been around for 10 years now, and they are FINALLY getting the recognition they deserve. One of my favorite post-hardcore bands out. Love them. Should check out Neon Grave❤️

Dayseeker is super dope, this entire album is super dope. Rory is also screams as well in other songs, you happened to pick one of their calmer songs! Crooked Soul is one of my favorite songs ever by them! It really shows Rorys screaming and singing and being top tier at both.

They're so good dude. The genre name youre looking for is technically post-hardcore. One if the hallmarks of that genre tends to be the balance of clean vocals and unclean vocals (screams and growls). These guys are insanely talented, and i love seeing them feyt recognition for it

So, regarding the genre of this music, it'd be light Metalcore or Post-Hardcore Punk (there's a lot of overlap in the spaces where punk and metal interact.) My recommendations are: "Forgive and Forget" by The Raven Age, "Without a Whisper" by Invent Animate, "There's Fear in Letting Go" by I Prevail and "Blessed Be" by Spiritbox.

Bro just found your channel yesterday and dayseeker has been one of if not my favorite band for over a year now (Rory also is in another band called Hurtwave which is more electronic sounding and less screamo and never heard a song by either band he is in I didn't like) until I found this band a few months back called "Happy Hour" don't think you'll even see this comment but if ya do check out "Twenty-Six" by Happy Hour their amazing and literally nobody knows who they are and there isn't a single reaction video on youtube to any of their music makes me sad af lol
