Then Oonirisa was chosen to take over the position of Oduduwa bcos he was the only one qualified to sit on that throne. The present Alaafin is the Yoruba problem he is the one causing all these problem for self pride. Alaafia including the present one and his father have to go Ile-Ife for stool of office before they attained the thrown. This Alaafin is just a trouble maker(arije ni ibi madaru) he fought Awolowo till death, he fought Bola Ige till death,he fought Asipa of Oyo till death ane late Ooni till death. Just because those people are trying to tell him the truth about his position in Yorubaland. This Oluwo once said Ooni is the head of all kings he even paid a visit to Ile-Ife to establish his root but because of his attitude among Oshun Kings he now think Aalafin is the head of Yoruba.We all know why Oluwo is saying all these he is not in good term with Ooni because Ooni position about his thuggery attitude having a physical fight with fellow Oba and smoking weeds. Alaafin as elder not in position but in age should not be causing more trouble just because he wants to be who is not. He created Are ona kankanfo of Yoruba the position of Are ona kankanfo only fought for Oyo not for Yoruba,he also created Mayegun of Yoruba which has no relevant to Yorubaland he is just a busy body causing trouble at his age. During later age of King Adesoji Aderemi he was unable to attend most of the royal meeting Alaafin was given a temporary assignment to chair the Obas meeting in Ibadan pending the new Ooni but he caused a lot of problem within the obas so much within that period.

If you read a good book not the one written by Johnson which was one sided because he is from Oyo .Alaafin has no authority in Yorubaland that why you will people like Obasanjo,Wole Soyinka.Akinrinade respect Ooni more than Alaafin. Before the old Oyo was destroy all Yoruba soldiers have to contribute numbers of army officer to guide Ooni as a sign of respect.
