As per vocal coaches who have listened to her sing, she does not have the "whistle tones" like Maria. One thing she can do, is sing in her head voice HIGHER than Maria. I think what you are hearing and thinking as Whistle, is falsettos. One thing I notice about her also, is that in most live performances, they are as CLEAN as a studio recording, she is that perfect.

umakemesmileswackin She isn’t straining, she is belting with near perfect technique. Her face looks more “strained” compared to other Ingres who belt like that, because many of them don’t belt properly, and their belts aren’t even supported (Arianna is a good example because she might make it look easy, but it looks easy because she isn’t belting properly)
