I 've been her immortal song 2 west life special show yesterday. She was just another level!!!!! I was shivering and crying like a little girl....She is truly outstanding singer and person. I can't describe how phenomenal her live. I realize her KZbin live video sound quality is shitty!!!! Her live is 1000000000000000000 time better than that!!! And She is Too humble and amazing!!! I love more than her ever. I wish she can do World Tour like Beyonce or Adele. I wish u can experience this performance live.

Thank you so much for your reaction. I was also so moved by this performance of hers, everything was just so magnificent. And just fyi, it's unfortunate that she's not that famous, 'cause she mostly sings as a gospel singer. She actually sang the US National Anthem a couple of times in the games over there in America, and she just filmed an MV in the NYC, it's called "Way to go home" if you wanna check it out. :D

when you pronounce her name the 'h' is not silent. and this song was originally written by a pastor singer, yoon hyang gi and was originally sung by his sister, yoon bok hee about three decades ago..

Great video! Love your reactions ^^ I really love and admire Sohyang. Many record labels in Korea have attempted to sign her (because I mean, her amazing voice!), but she declined them all. She says she enjoys singing on entertainment shows and at concerts for the purpose of sharing her music, rather than to make money. She's not looking for the fame; if she was, she definitely would have gotten it

Most of the songs you watch are not hers, it's because she sings a lot on shows... especially immortal songs 2 which is a program where they get a handful of korean celebs and they compete with songs from a legend of korean music.

Alyssa Q Surprisingly she has been singing last 20 years like that!! With her christian family band which name is POS. Band was consisted of her, her husband and sisters-in-law. And one of sisters is now a member of American band DNCE.

hi, alyssa. your pronunciation is quite right but there is a little more h sound. one interesting thing is, 소향(所向, so-hyang) means, i guess, the direction you are facing. it's sort of metaphore she is always facing God. She is not regular pop singer, she is CCM singer. Once she said that her voice, her song is not hers, therefore she can not accept applauds."

I am korean. And i know what is mean this song. Probably almost korean has known about this song. Ailee is so good singer but most korean think known that Sohyang is much better then Ailee.

I love Ailee but there is nothing she can do that Sohyang can't. Sohyang has more range and amazing technique that she actually uses to convey different levels of emotion (e.g. light/angelic to strong/piercing head voice depending on the mood of the song). Ailee will sing with emotion while Sohyang becomes THE SONG. Not to mention that Sohyang is actually a gospel singer so you can't just say she lacks 'emotion' because if a gospel singer is not 'emotional' enough, I don't know what does.
