When I first click on this video, I only wanted to pay homage to Sohyang since I have seen her perform this cover numerous times but it's a pleasant surprise to watch this cover from her in the earlier days. I watched it with interest to take the note of the changes she made to the later rendition performance in the IAAS2 DMC concert. It is so enlightening to see how Sohyang's arrangement of the song evolved over time. She sang with weightier chest voice and over time opted to use more her head voice. Also the transition became so much cleaner in the later version. Thank you for sharing.

It is like writing I suppose. You sit down to write something and as you look at what you wrote you change a word here and there, or you might move a line or a paragraph until you are satisfied with what you have produced. Sohyang's 2015 rendition at the DMC Festival was astounding! David Foster himself called it "thrilling!" 😏

@@ToddSauve Such an apt observation. So many achievements required diligent follow-ups and frequent revisits to bring it to its final state for appreciation beyond the initial inspiration.
