So I Added The Upside Down To Minecraft...

I added the "Upside Down" from Stranger Things into Minecraft using the new Deep Dark biome blocks and the warden from the new 1.19 Wild Update Snapshot. I can now seemlessly travel between the two dimesnions. Minecraft is now a horror game.

For the detecting items in your main hand, how did you make it so it only happens once and not keep teleporting you down

A repeating command block senses the item in my hand and outputs a redstone signal, that signal travels to a regular command block that when activated runs what ever is written inside (the teleport command) once (since its a regular command block it doesn't repeat when activated).

Also, the Warden makes lights flicker like anything that is related to the upsidedown AkA supernatural. Also,, the trees don't have leaves. So you shouldn't have put anything there. The trees are just dead.

If the warden doesn't hear a sound for a while it will make a sniffing sound, this sound is the warden smelling to see if there are any near by entities, if you are nearby when it does this and do not move, it will slowly begin to makes its way over to you, this is why you have to keep moving but do so quietly.

I used "/tp @p ~ (desired amount of blocks up or down) ~" however this would only work in single player, since @p stands for nearest player to the source of the command, the source would be a command block so it would only teleport the player closest to the command block, you would have to tweak the command using "/execute" to make it compatabile with multiplayer.. for the command that detects when items are in your hand, I left a link in the description to SmartSnake's video on how to detect items in a players hand.

Why when i use tp command i teleport to the command block

Tp command teleports relative to who or what ran the command, if a player runs the command "tp @a ~ ~ ~" and hits enter, the result will teleport all players to the player who ran the command. If you run the same command in a command block however, the result will teleport all players to the command block since the command block is the entity running the command. To achieve the first result while still using a command block you would have to tell the command block to run the command as if it were you. For example, "execute as CaptainSeaFear run tp @a ~ ~ ~", the execute part makes the command block run the tp command as if I were the one who typed it and hit enter, the result would be the same as the first example, all players would be teleported to me.
