Hey, Here is a proper physics-like model, with 4 input variables: w_t is water initial temperature w_c is water cooling capacity (more -- cool more per bottle) reaction is how much more reactor heats up per degree(chain reaction) e.g 0.2 means 20% faster per 100 degr. dt is how much reactor is heating up every second without any water(change that with a slider) and also make that your uranium usage coeficient e.g total_fuel_left = total_fuel_left - K*dt change K to control your fuel usage rate t is current temperature n is number of consumed water bottles from previous cycle t_prev is previous reactor temperature t = t_prev + dt*reaction*t_prev t = t - w_c * n * (t - w_t) That is it!!! suggestiones: 1. Make Uranium spawn rare, and last long 2. Make level 69 INSANE (hundreds of pumps) 3. Make uranium less accessible for new players(Even level 1 is resource intensive)

I think the water should automatically be consumed and drop the temp by say 2° or so after 10° over the set limit using the slider. Since more heat = more power for these reactors, it's basically a power slider.

Real nuclear reactors usually have the maximum temperature of 300 degree celsius, which is more than enough to heat the water and produce steam for the generators. Yeah, basically nuclear reactors are the next generation of Steam engines ;)

And for actual reactors, I think we have like 4 ranges/ranks lol I will put the list from higher to lower: *** >1000 degree - none *** 500-1000 degree - Gas cooled fast reactor, Molten salt Reactor and Very high temperature reactor *** 300-500 degree - (all above ones), Lead Cooled water reactor and Supercritical water cooled reactor ***

This is kind of lame. If you knew a bit more about nuclear power, this could have been way cooler. Firstly, would be cool if you had to find uranium with a geiger counter from random ore deposits, or with an ultra violet flashlight, since it does not actually glow on its own. Secondly, there is actually several types of uranium, but to simplify, you could make it so you have to find a rare uranium type, and combine it with the common one to get more of the rare one (but it would take a really really long time to combine it). Thirdly, it would be even cooler if you had to process and craft the nuclear fuel for the reactor with different materials (concrete, metal, uranium, etc.) and then use that to power the reactor. And actually, fuel can last for YEARS, so it would be cool if you had to only replace it at least once a (in game) day or so. Fouthly, the reactor could be made of several parts, the first one is the core, where all the hot stuff happens, and it would generate steam from water. Then, the turbine, which will consume steam to spin and generate electricity, or it could power your vehicles or something. Fifthly, reactors actually dont generate waste on their own, so you could make an anti-rad suit that you had to replace, and take care of the used ones. Or, there can be used up uranium fuel, that you had to get rid of, or it would be crafted into a little bit of the common uranium type. Sixthly, if you really wanna make it explode, then usually it leaves an extremely radioactive mass where it exploded, and the explosion might happen because the concrete and metal vaporised and build up a lot of pressure. (yeah, you should make it expensive to craft, with at least a few stacks of concrete and metal, since thats pretty accurate too) Seventhly, i think its really cool how you can just add stuff like this into the game over just a few days, im just trying to help give feedback to make it cooler and a bit more accurate to real life.

@@nextrobo7964 Yes, water does start to freeze at 0°C. The reactor is supposed to be ~20°C without any cooling but somehow remains at 0°C. This is most likely a bug that has to do with assuming that ambient temperature is 0°C.
