Growing apart sucks, but also means that you have both grown as people along the way. ps: a small tip for moving heavy furniture around by yourself: put some thick socks on the legs of the pieces you're moving, makes sliding much easier, and prevents scratches on floors/ walls/ doors as you move around. I find it much easier than using a towel that usually doesn't stay put.

Hi Gittemary, just wanted to leave a comment, even though it’s a year since you posted this! I’m old enough to be your grandma, but I find your videos really helpful, fun and relevant. I’ve been alone for nearly two decades now, and it’s hard, but there are so many upsides - and it’s peaceful! I can do my own hobbies, buy NO stuff, that isn’t what I like, and wear my old clothes which I love. I don’t have to dress to look “pretty and acceptable”, but I wear the stuff I found at thrift shops that make me feel happy. I can eat vegan food without criticism and always have leftovers, actually every day, so there’s always the start of the next meal in my fridge. I can eat when I need to, not when others are hungry, and I can watch your videos while I eat! 😊 It’s a great feeling when you use what you already have to make your space feel nicer, and I love not throwing away stuff. You did a great job with the daybed and it looks lovely. I hope you carry on with as many videos as you can manage, and the shorts too, but you don’t owe us anything, so do only what feels right, and it’s lovely that you shared with us how you’re doing - it can be encouraging to hear someone else’s struggles and triumphs, told in a natural and unselfish way. Best of luck for the next chapter. ❤ And just to say, “your face when you crumbled the little crispy triangles into your wrap, was just fabulous” and made me smile. It conveyed exactly that feeling that you get when you’re doing something a little indulgent, but will enjoy greatly! xxx

With reaching my earlier 30s I realized how much I really changed within the past 10 and even 5 years - and if you consider brain maturation it just makes sense. That in turn made me realize how it pretty much is a cast of fortune when a lang-term relationship starting within these years is evolving along, with your partner in a compatible direction. I remember being 20/25 and being quite sure about who I am and what I like/want/appreciate. Had no idea what a difference these following years would make. All the best for your new start! :)

I can recommend looking for a Tempur madras. We just bought ours and they are heavenly. From what I can gather online they seem to last a long time and there is a 15 year warranty on them including sagging. And they are easy to find pretty cheap (compared to new at least) used since no one seems to want a used bed.
