The title and thumbnail say enough I'd say. Though it's even more helmets than in the thumbnail, those are just a "few".
And thanks for 2000 subscribers, didn't expect to see that after such a period of inactivity..

Great going! I have one sitting in the garage - I took out the liner and band but can not decide what to do further on the shell..

Thanks! Nice, also a Czechoslovak reissue? Or something else? If it has original paint, maybe try to conserve it, otherwise maybe restore it. Luis

@@PotatoDigger No - a repro from IMA - enjoy working on these because no harm can be done and then given away to old friends as reproductions.

@@johnzeszut3170 Ah I see, yeah repro shells are alright for starters. IMO the worst thing about them when you get them new is the liner and paint anyway.

@@PotatoDigger They are solid helmets - the liner band is stamped with a marker mark. The shell is also stamped. One fault is that the felt between the leather and metal band is not right and cheaply done. They are a lot of fun to repaint, decal and age. A project for under eighty dollars and it takes a lot of mental effort also! Give aways to friends.

Hey, I mainly buy them on local sites where people who find them list them, that was they are usually cheaper. In Germans it's sites like Kleinanzeigen.

Both of these sets are copies, pay attention to the attachment of the petals, the attachment of the original is different. So, both of these sets are very mediocre. Thanks for your input, but that is incorrect. These MSS44 marked pins are often found in czechoslovak reissued helmets. There are bad quality reproductions marked MSS44 as well, though, so much is correct. But these are not copies. And thanks, I know of a paint store that mixes color up to older specifications, that's usually where I order from. Luis
