Here's my 2023 COVID experience. It was bad.
I'm glad to be back animating though! I'm going to be taking KZbin way more seriously this year and I'm excited to see what I end up making! I am glad to be here and alive (I literally thought I was going to stop existing on this plane of existence for a brief period of time from coronavirus) and I'm excited to live this year to the fullest and draw for all of you!

People act like covid is just the flu while I am missing a week of school with a horrible soar throat, painful congestion, and sitting in a warm bathtub to slightly seethe of the pain. This ain’t the flu, this is the worst sickness I’ve ever had.

Oh i totally understand how you feel! I got it in those dark times and i was having serious headaches, couldn't swallow anything, muddy nose, my muscles were so weak to fail me. I Got it cured by resting a lot, drinking a lot and also taking things that help take off flu, such as drinking citrus juice and inhaling substances made to cure cold.

Feel better!! I got COVID shortly before March 2020, so I went home from my urgent care visit the exact opposite: “Eh, you’re testing negative for flu and strep, but it’s probably one of those. Idk, go home 😂” I’m glad you were able to get the care you needed even though it was scary ❤

I also had to deal with COVID, I also had to go to the ER. I also had to start a shower and sit in the bathroom for a while so I would stop coughing once every 2 seconds.

I remember distinctly that when I was suffering from really bad Covid I had some crazy fever dreams too, the longest one involved me fighting my way out of a snake pit with a revolver that acted like a machine gun and kept flying out of my hand. Who needs drugs when you can have illness induced delusions 😆. Glad to hear your getting better, keep up the good work, love your art style

not the covid fever dreams... i had one that i was stuck in hell for 3 days until some demon made a deal with me and got me outta there. i felt much better afterwards. but that sleep lasted for like 1 and a half hours. so much happened in that dream, i honestly felt done with life. until i realized i felt much better and my fever started to disappear.

I know its pretty crazy tbh to get it for what i think was the “first time” in 2023. I’m always super careful and wear masks and get lots of shots so I guess those things really work!! Just bad luck lol

When I had "it", I had to deal with having a horrible taste in my mouth. They said I would have NO TASTE. This is a stark difference!

I was coughing my head off and if I was up more than a few minutes I start sweating bullets. I swear if my tongue hadn't been attached to me the way I was coughing i be down a tongue. The only reason I suspected that horrible bug got me because I escape the shutdown and got all the shots is my dad also got it. And if you're showing symptoms and someone in your home has it then you probably have it as well.

I caught it in July 2022. Felt pretty bad and lethargic. Was really annoyed because I’d had several vaccinations so it shouldn’t have been able to infect me. But infect me it did.

@@Cypopps We're over our latest bout, but Long COVID sucks. Thankfully, a nearly full recovery isn't beyond the realm of possibility. Slow going, but we're getting there! Hah, I thought I remembered your older videos having lip syncing, but I'm glad you've found a workflow that's working better for you. Always good when you're able to figure out a better way of doing things.

Yeah I got COVID on Christmas... It was horrible xD I thought I just had strep throat but nope one of my cousins gave me and my uncle COVID. So we had to go to urgent care in Christmas and then isolate after that. I'm not one for naps but I don't remember much of those days except I didn't eat much but I took some medicine to help. I also asked for tea. Aside form matcha I don't like tea so that's usually how people know I'm sick 😅 I hope you feel better. You are my hyperfixation KZbinr at the moment your voice is very comforting

Last year i got strep i could not breath at all so i had to go to the ER i left at 4:00am and got back at 1:00pm i could not drank water for hours.

I had pneumonia covid...I could not even get up for a minute (hard to even use restroom), otherwise I feel like fainting, but I did drink so much water and milk(lifesaver) :3 oh and when I even tried eating soup or other foods, it tasted horrible, it's like I can only taste just the salt or the fat, glad the milk did taste good.. I slept for days long(gather milk and water each night so I can always have it by me in my room) worstttt days of my life, but once I did start getting better I remember it was night and someone has cooked some meat with potatoes and I ate it and it tasted good! I started to get my energy back after a while :)

I too once got diagnosed with COVID last year on September. At first, I thought it was just a normal cold and fever. But as soon as I took the COVID test and it came out positive, I got extremely scared because I thought I was going to die, even though I already have taken the vaccine, including the booster dose. Luckily, after a week being quarantined inside the house, I am finally healthy and free from the virus.

During these years if covid I risked having it because my father is a pharmacist,I have been around people who had covid etc...but I caught it just once,in the half of october 2022,because my dad took it. I took a test,and me and mom were negative,but the day later I had to wear a mask for covid,since my dad was positive. In the afternoon I started feeling catarrh in my throat,so the day later I skipped school and went to a pharmacy to do the covid test. I was positive,and got mad to my dad lol. Then my mom got it,and I stayed at home for like 1 week and half. It was like having a flu,but the first evening I felt pain in my legs. Fortunately I did 3 vaccines for that,I think that me and my parents (especially dad,since he had problem with his saturarion) would die if we didn't do these vaccines 🥹
