So I Destroyed 4 Million Russians as Finland

I joined a Bokoen Multiplayer game as Finland and I may have had one of my best games in HOI4 Multiplayer ever.
With Germany and the Axis struggling against Russia, I had to step up in this game as Finland and destroy the Soviet Union.
With my insanely OP mountaineers and infantry that had up to 3000 defence in HOI4, I was able to destroy 4 Million Russians.
Yes, small Finland did 4 mil casualties to the Soviet Union in a serious Hearts of Iron 4 Multiplayer game.
This is how it all happened.
All I will say is I don't think they are gonna let me play Finland again after Russia got ruined like this HOI4 MP game.

@Dankus GBP is exactly identical to Superior Firepower on offense if you have full planning bonus (the night bonus compensate the less Soft Attack precisely), and so it's better because you have less supply consumption/attrition/terrain penalty. But that's only if you have the planning bonus, otherwise superior firepower is flat out better. Different situation on defense: having full entrenchment may make some position completely unpushable for the attacker, but you will always inflict less damage, so they can click you with more freedom. Imho, GBP is still winning if you know what you are doing and try to work as much as you can using its advantages, otherwise if you plan on scrambling or going back and forth over and over, I'd go SF. Also, I would avoid GBP for every allied nation outside of India, your biggest chance to win is take your opponent by surprise, so I'd look for raw stats.

superior isnt better because of breakthrough, you go from 400 breakthrough in battle (SF) to 1k with GBP, stats are relatively the same otherwise but gbp gets way more damage in through night attack in the end so for an infantry nation on barb that wants to push there is no question about it.

@@DankusMemecus SF gets you more org, and if you don't have planning bonus, it'll get higher stats across the board. The point is that GBP has double the entrenchment and double the planning bonus, and they both work across all stats, not just on soft attack like SF bonuses. Plus the supply thing is great on barb. What I'm pointing out is that you have to know how to play and get the best out of your units. The editor obviously cuts all the repositioning/waiting for planning/having frontlines with no units and so on, but if any of the viewers wants to try, they should know how to go. Another small thing: the night bonus is particularly important for the Axis: Russia gets buffs in winter, but in winter in the North you have nights way longer than days, so you get the most effect of that buff in the season you need it the most.

@@12gark gbp is better than superior due to that a superior firepower unit runs out of org too quickly. a gbp unit runs out of org later, therefor dealing more damage (due to breakthrough). ive done several spreadsheets on this and gbp in TFB outperforms superior even without planning for both doctrines, due to land night attack and the fact it stays in battle longer.
