When it hops on an existing chicken the chicken doesn't change, it's only when a new chicken spawns for it to ride on that it has special properties, it despawns like a hostile mob and doesn't lay eggs.

I think you should talk to Doc about the Jockey farm. Show him how easy it is to move your chicken villagers around compared to the traditional minecart method and you might be able to get the help of him and his Tech friends in scaling up or potentially automating some/all of the steps. He's often complained about how annoying it is to move villagers, so having a method that makes them immune to fall damage and lets you lead them around on an *actual* lead might pique his interest.

I think my favorite one is the upside-down villager on top of a regular chicken...the hat looks like a little nest or basket to carry it in! In the nether you could rotate the portal by 90 degrees and elongate it so instead of 2 you have 1 really wide portal. That way if you enter the right hand side its one end of the ravine, and if you enter the left its the other side of the ravine.

Woolves of Woolstreet is a quadruple pun when you think about it: wolf in sheep’s clothing, wanting to make loads of money on Woolstreet, and of course the double wool word pun. It makes it even better that their accents naturally make them pronounce it like “woolstreet” 😂 It’s literally too perfect - It would be so cool to make Woolstreet the collective with the little stock exchange kiosks selling the different colors - OMG maybe with a little redstone the prices of each type of wool could raise and drop daily at random like each color is a different stock - too many creative opportunities it’s just too good

The prices changing randomly every day would be really funny, but what if the changes were based on how fully each color was stocked? So like, the color with the most in stock is most expensive and the color with the least stock is cheapest, and it dynamically updates as people buy wool, maybe they're also all linked somehow behind the scenes - then the woolstreet traders would be incentivized to keep their stock high for more profits, and they could even buy out their fellow stock traders to drop their prices or something depending on how intricate it got. It sounds like a wild idea and maybe that's too complex, but even just the random changes would be amazing.

If you go for dangling villagers, maybe use the Dinnerbone on both the villager and the chicken, it'd look like the villager is attached by the feet holding on the chicken's feet (like trying to hold on above a hole or something for example), might be looking funny and even more appropriate for the ravine styled-base !

You'll have a talk by Docm, he wants to build his shops next to his hourglass where you made yours. Also, I know at least Stress has 2 wool permits and she already made a farm and has quite a lot. And Etho has sheep farms I don't remember if and what permit he has. Because wool farms are so easy to make, that'll probably be the case for the other wool permits, unless they really really don't want to make a farm, you and xisuma will have a hard time to gather the other permits, but hey if the wool collective could be an actual collective where each permit holding hermit works on the shop, not like Docm who made 90% of the wood shops

No it's specifically the natural spawning rate like zombies and other hostile mobs. Zombie villages can spawn in any biome with regular villages, and the zombies inside them are part of the structure, not affecting natural spawns in any way. You can look at the biome .json files yourself. They have a weight of 25 when every other biome has it at 5

As it pertains to the portal to portal distance, it might technically be faster to go through the nether, but only if you are actually going portal to portal. Your starting and ending locations are likely to be farther into the base in either direction like 100% of the time, unless you build an interface or door at or behind the portals.

On the theme of minigames, having the villagers in some kind of loop system would be great. They get sent up some kind of elevator, then pushed off a ledge and slow-chicken-fall to the ground and repeat. And to trade with them you have to click them mid fall and trade fast because they'll get out of range quickly.

Zed - dangling them would be a waste when they are chicken powered. Think about... juggling. Make a water elevator that pushes them way up, then stream pushes them to the side and allows them to slowly drop down with Chicken-tech. That way you can have villagers in constant motion as if they were juggled.

Nice improvements, and good choice on moving. One more tweak you can make (not 100% sure how much it will help, but seemed to be slightly faster when I tried in a creative world) is to replace the wall blocks at foot level of the spawning platform with stairs, and then adding a brim around the outside to take advantage of the pack-spawning mechanics for the zombies. After your last video I had to try this. Thanks for the laughs, and the inspiration.

9:47 I would suggest: Give the villagers a living area. I find it sad to see always the villagers stuck in 1x1 spaces and the devs also mentioned they dislike to see that. Some extra feedback: - Do make sure they can't walk too far away (keep it shorter than 45 blocks of path finding length to their workplace). - They will naturally find their way and stand near their workplace during working hours (do keep in mind the path limit I mentioned). - If you keep it a simple, baby proof space, you should be fine. My personal experience (learned the hard way): Context: I built a custom village with a nice and somewhat complex living space with free roaming. My struggles that I had to figure out were related with their path finding: - Path finding limit (45 blocks of walking space) - Misjudgement (they tend to jump from places that they should not and accumulate fall damage over time, eventually dying). Not a worry for your particular case with the chickens. :) - Lack of understanding (they do not see trapdoors as walls and will keep trying to walk forward, essentially stuck and unable to reach their destination.) - Forgetting their personal workstation and using another workstation of the same type. (I had this issue earlier, perhaps related with being too far or being stuck and not reaching their stations some days) Love your videos and craziness! :) You are very creative! Cheers!

for the wool shop: could you make a machine with sheep carried on water streams, getting freshly dyed by machine, then "super-sheared" to fill a shulker in the color you select. You should put the villagers on a launching machine over a pit of lava with some park-core jumps over the pit for you to attempt to click on the villager at the right time as they are thrown above you, while not falling into the lava, kind of like the children's game "monkey in the middle" :) really great trading system if you ask me

The first farm might have been inefficient in terms of what the new one can do but you got a rare villager, the jungle one 😅
