So I finally caved... and learned to make a game

In this video I document my first time experience as a solo game developer, the kind of game that I made and how long it took me to learn how to make it all work.
The game I made is what I call "The missile game" a game in which you must fly a missile through an endless tunnel while avoiding obstacles and shooting targets in an effort to get a high score.

The visual coding looks a little like nodes in fusion or blender. The idea of making old school PS1-like games has some appeal to me, but I don't have the ideas to give me that conviction to learn all those new extra skills.

one good way NOT to get bored is... dont do bs random crap you dont care about. Do the project you want to make, that will give you the motivation to make it. And of what ive heard on unity visual scripts, DONT use em unless its some third party, one guy had to recreate the whole project because of it, unity just decided to.... detach his visual scripts from everything.

I miss your videos on the Chrome mobile but when it comes to the game I know that took a lot of effort but that reminds me too much of how can I say every one of the psyops shooter games because even though you're having a rocket go through a tunnel every one of them game platforms even though the surrounded by Forest rocks and all that they only allow the player to move within a tunnel and let alone the graphics on them games when it comes to everything out of line of sight is really crappy they forget about the shadows and just put blobs and the lack of detail that's what 90% of the games out there right now that's how crappy they're doing their backgrounds
