I guess it would be a great help if you did a video on profiler - there is a lot of stuff about fmod online (like adaptive sound, parameters etc), but nearly zero people are talking about prifiler, how to use it and so on.

Agreed. I don't have a whole lot of time for video content at the moment, but I might do a blog article on it at some point soon. I spoke with Firelight at GameSoundCon this year, and it sounds like they're working on overhauling the profiler at the moment, so I'll probably wait for those changes to drop. They said they're also working on some internal tutorials, so I may see how they cover the new profiler internally, first.

Hey man the channel is excellent. I will be bringing in a friend who is a musician and producer to work on the audio for a game, and would LOVE someone knowledgeable like yourself to do a primer video on the basics of working within Fmod (setting up different kinds of events/instruments, mixer basics, parameters, etc.). It doesn't need to involve Unity really at all, but would be more along the lines of learning the flow and some of the important technicalities within Fmod itself. Obviously you're at a level where such a thing might be very unexciting to you so no problem at all in that case! Your videos are great and highly educational as is :)

Hey Lorenzo, thanks for the feedback! If your friend is looking for a top-to-bottom course FMOD Studio, I've heard great things about Beatrix Moersch's course on Pluralsight: www.pluralsight.com/courses/fmod-audio-implementation-video-games-2414 There are a couple minor things in the course that have probably changed, but for the most part, everything should still be functional and relevant, and any oddities can be found in FMOD's documentation: www.fmod.com/resources/documentation-studio?version=2.1&page=welcome-to-fmod-studio.html FMOD also provides access to the entire Celeste FMOD Studio project, which is a great reference when trying to understand how to structure a project: www.fmod.com/resources/documentation-studio?version=2.2&page=appendix-a-celeste.html

put a nested event in your scatterer instrument and in that nested event put a multi instrument, then put your files in there that you want randomized over the ambience tracks. i just did this today for a level worked so good, just wanted to see how other ppl used it.

Great video man! Interesting use of Scatterer. Can't wait to find away to mess with that in my project.
