Seems like "Magic Skin" is a bit of an under-understood item. Hutts. Magin Skin works like this: - If you hold it and NOT use it even once and leave it behind, it wont spawn copies of itself. - If you USE it but you will STILL hold onto it, it ALSO WONT spawn copies of itself. - It only creates copies if you USE it at least once and leave it behind. Once I've learned that, I gained some appreciation for Magic Skin ngl. It saved some of my underpowered runs.

The badges are part of a fiend folio challenge, you get them from beating fiend folio bosses in a certain way (example: killing the sun boss with chaos card), the normal way to get all the badges is from the boss gauntlet mode and you get an achievement for doing it.

No, the badges only spawn in that challenge, they aren't unlocked I'm pretty sure sacred dice was just being unimaginably chanky, and just pulling from every item in the item list Considering there are items that normally shouldn't spawn such as: The pocket out for China's birthright, tainted fiends pocket active, and tainted blue babies pocket active I think it's "pull from literally everything in the game, except maybe a blacklist of some specific vanilla items"

It's not that I enjoy it when someone suffers. The thing is, speaking specifically about you and TBoI, you're like a fish in water there, at some point the element of surprise is lost. I know for a fact that 95% of the time you'll tear any normal run on a normal character to shreds and it all becomes predictable You've shown your skill many times and I'm sure almost no one doubts your abilities. That's why I enjoy watching you play these bullshit characters. It gets me excited, I start to cheer and worry for you, because it's something you're not used to, something that can give you a challenge. The same is basically true when you're playing a game that's new to you, or better yet, a genre that's new to you. Also, you have a very good sense of humor, including when it comes to furious statements So, it's not just that I enjoy watching other people's suffering, I rather enjoy watching skillful people overcome greater challenges. Perhaps some would agree with me

1. You have good reactions to frustration, it's amusing to watch. And the edits of those are good 2. People can feel better when they see someone else popular struggles with something, makes them feel less useless at the game 3. Watching broken, OP runs going to same places and bosses every time gets stale. There is no drama, there is no emotion or surprise. Cuz sure, watching a crazy Hemolacria spoonbender brimstone poison creep ipecac godhead shots with magic mush can be fun, beating the game with a busted OP combo with 0 challenge everyt ime gets boring to watch after some time. And not just to watch, it must get boring to play as well when you have no challenge So it's a mix of everything I feel like It's not that people only enjoy seeing you suffer

It probably stems from seeing someone generally good at a game struggle through a challenge, it's entertaining to see the high stakes high skill gameplay to try and get through it. But for me personally I usually go by "If they're having fun playing it, I'm having fun watching it"

Those ‘Badge’ items are a part of a fiend folio unlock, they’re not in any pools, and aren’t supposed to be obtained through any means besides specific ones exclusive to each badge, guessing Sacred Dice making them show up is a bug

Heyy Hutts, I know you probably have a lot on your plate most of the time but I wonder if you've ever checked out Ancient Dungeon VR. It is a VR Roguelike that is actually quite cool. Doesn't have as many items as Isaac ofc but it really feels polished and great for a early access (though it has been early access for ages since thats the gaming world we live in atm).
