(IMPORTANT) Do note that you will need to have the same VSTs in the FLP for everything to work properly AND this project is not mastered because I mastered it in a different project so it is VERY LOUD.
I finished my Geoxor inspired track! I hope you like it because I do.
This project really helped me improve my vocal chop skills which is why I wanted to make a Geoxor track in the first place. I'm pretty proud of the outcome.
I also released this on Newgrounds because someone wanted to use it for a level in GD which is awesome! (shoutout to Christopher780)

A quick thing about the mastering, I produced this track in a dumb way where I purposely clipped the mix so when the kick and clap would hit it would clip and make a super crunchy sound. This is NOT a good way to do it because it will make mixing and mastering harder to do. I thought I'd let you guys know because I've gotten a couple of comments about this :) ALSO: This is actually mastered but I mastered it in a seperate project but I recorded the OG project for visuals and replaced audio with the mastered. I'm still not that good at mastering though lol.

you can get a very similar sound by sending all of your drums to a channel, using a soft clipper and setting the threshold to where the clipper only activates when the kick and clap play together.

I actually purposely oversaturated and clipped the mix so when the kick and clap hit it makes a really crunchy sound but as a result it was an absolute pain to mix and master. It's not what I usually do but I learnt a lot from making this! I heard that there's a plugin that does this for you without clipping the mix so I might buy that some time.
