For Explanation those Red eyes of Sasuke are the so called Sharingan, a unique abillity of the Uchiha Clan which allows him to copy attacks of the Enemy, look through attacks to find the perfect way to dodge and after the Sharingan User sufferd enough emotional Pain he Activates the Mangekyo Sharingan which first grants them two new Abillitys which depend on the User and the Susanoo (That Purple Samurai Armor) the Downside however is that after a certain number of uses the User slowly turn blind which can only be prevented if they takes the eyes of someone related by blood meaning they have to rip their Eyeballs out and put them their own Eye socket blinding the Family nenber in the Process. Also to Activate the First stage of the Normal Sharingan you have to suffer Emotional Pain as well which makes it so hard to get without killing loved ones

For some context: -Naruto wants to become "Hokage" aka. the ninja Governor of his home Village and to be acknowledged by everyone cuz hes a lonely orphan, but he feels that he can never be worthy if he cant even save Sasuke from darkness, which is why he chases after him the entire series -Naruto is from the "Uzumaki Clan" which is known for having huge amounts of powerful chakra (energy). Sasuke is from the "Uchiha Clan" which is known for having the Sharingan: red eyes with visual prowess and other certain unique powers. -Naruto and Sasuke have each recently been handed Godlike powers and have basically become demigods (in the 2nd fight) -Naruto literally just fought in a full scale 4th Ninja World War for 2 days nonstop, and Sasuke joined midway, which is why they're so exhausted towards the end. - There are 9 Tailed Beasts, including the strongest one: the big orange demon fox that we also saw in the OG fight, that was sealed inside Naruto when he was born. He was ostracized as a kid because he was an orphan who literally had a demon living inside him. As a kid he would get "possessed" by that overwhelming power like you saw in the first fight, but over 16 years Naruto has learned to befriend the fox and control its power. -Sasuke had sealed the other 8 Tailed Beasts inside those giant floating meteors, and was basically infusing all of their power simultaneously into his giant Samurai form, called "Susanoo" -In the final attack: the power of the blast blew off one of their arms each, and they were therefore, quite literally, bonded by blood. The End.

A lot of the over-the-top ship makes a lot more sense if you watch the show lol, but what I really appreciated about that last fight for Naruto is that it got so visceral at the end, the conflict around Naruto and Sasuke was always a personal one, and I feel there was no better choice then to make it as personal and physical and brutal as it was there at the end, a gigantic Spirit Bomb maybe the way to beat some villains, but this conflict needed to get to a personal level

Don't listen to everyone about Sakara. She was a love sick brat in the first series who was an mean to Naruto. However, in the second series Shipuden she has major character development and becomes a sister figure and loves naruto very very much. She's one of the strongest kunoichi in the leaf villages history. She has Super human strength, the 100 healings seal, is one of the best medical ninja in history, has extraordinary Chakra control, opens a children's hospital and runs it. So she may have started out useless but she's by no means useless anymore.

Sorry but gonna say it: the greatest and the most complex love story of all anime. They are not just rivals. Sasuke never brought himself to killing Naruto, though he was his last weakness, but kept excusing himself like "i don't want to do what Itachi wants me to, i won't kill him now, sometime later yeah". And all that "my body moved on its own" when rescuing Naruto and kinda romantic scene under the rain after the first fight. Naruto never gave up on Sasuke and the idea of rescuing him from his own demons. Begged for Sasuke's execution delayed, got a panic attack thinking he'd lose him, wished upon a falling star holding Sasuke's headband, took severe beating but never betrayed Sasuke And that's like one percent of all that had been going on with them. No matter how you view it, romantic or platonic, that's love

The "she's useless" thing is a tired meme that's existed in the Naruto fandom for too long. Sakura is perfectly capable, the author just had a tendency to treat her like a side character. Plus people clown on her for being obsessed with Sasuke even though Naruto was far more obsessed with him than Sakura ever was. On top of that, her teammates are just straight up not normal. Poor girl is a essentially a normie that's constantly beside two freaks of nature.
