Ottomans were pissed because it had become a national project and people were literally ripping their hair out and selling it to contribute. When WW1 statred the Goeben and its escourt the light cruiser Breslau hid in Constantinople after being chased by the British it was "transferred" to the ottomans (still kept the crew tho) that same crew and Admiral (who was German) later shot at Sevastepol dragging the ottomans In. Apologies for the small essay but I'm a history buff

Enver Pasha the Minister of War was sort of a germanophile and had a plans to join Germany against Russia, the Boat Incident was also a plan devised in part by him having in mind that the Ships will exercise and provoke a russian attack which didnt happen.

The İttihat and Terakki administration believed an entry to the war was a must, or the empire would be split between the victors of the war. But there were others like Mustafa Kemal Pasha who wanted to stay non aligned or perhaps enter much later, when the future was more forseeable.

The supply system is overall a good addition to the game imo. It's just a bit dumb sometimes like in this video. Tommy literally had 2 supply hubs right next to his front line and still somehow didn't have enough supply. That could be a problem with the mod tho.

I am an Ottoman Sweat when it comes to the Great War Redux, so I'll share my Strategy for the early to mid game. First send most of your troops to the Libyan coast, only have some defending the coast of Albania for both the Albanian revolts and if Italy tries to pull a sneaky, once Italy Declares war on you for Libya their troops will automatically spawn at Tripoli, Benghazi and Tobruk, During the war you likely take back Benghazi, however Italy will try to re-invade it, or even try to invade Albania, or possibly even southern Anatolia. I'd recommend building railways in Libya before the war begins, if you can do it. Now first you need to, take back which ever port city was taken that has the least amount of Italian troops, and make sure to use most of the army to do this, if the battle is stalling then send some troops back to Benghazi for more Supplies, before bringing them back to the front, after you take one of the port cities, all you have to do now is go into the other one with the remaining army, that isn't either at the coast of Benghazi or Albania. Now for the Balkan Wars. I honestly don't think that you should fight the first one just wait at Thrace, its just not worth it, only really get involved in the second one. But if you do want to try then i guess you could try to kill Montenegro first, then invade Athens, before actually trying to contain Serbia and Bulgaria. Now for the Great War. If you're going historical then do this, send your troops near the Russian, Egyptian, Kuwaiti, and Yemeni borders, now I did say "near" for a reason. when the Great War starts you wont be a part of it at first, this in turn will cause the Entente nations that you are bordering to send most if not all their troops to their respective fronts. Now if there are still Entente troops near the borders I'd say wait at first, however if they don't move from their positions, then you can put your troops at the border, also Libya doesn't really matter so just put the minimal amount of troops at the border there. After you Declare war on the Entente move in and take what you can also the Arabian and Armenian revolts shouldn't be that much of a problem, just isolate and kill them ASAP. One more thing, after you most likely take Kuwait and southern Arabia you should send those troops at your coasts mainly Gallipoli, the Aegean (for when the Italians and Greeks join the war), Southern Anatolia, Beirut, and Tel Aviv.

To be fair logistics in WW1 weren't the best. Radio was still very much wired and shelling often broke those wires, so communication was cancer or delayed to all hell. You can have a great supply hub but if the information doesn't get back home then no supplies are coming.

Biggest issue with this mod is, you can almost never justify after 1920, you either need a wargoal or need to change your politics from the start. They need to fix that world tension requirement aftet the war. Historicly after WW1 other nations would wage war, just not inside europe, should give the war participants a national spirit so they are tired of war, more for the victors maybe but at least let others do what they want. Or give more focus options

It was a 10 year long stalemate because in this mod units get more recovery and reinforcement rate, so it takes ages to break someone. Also the particular moment when Tommy finally breaks trough is muted in the twitch vod up until the point where they capitulate. So there was sadly no other way to show it, sorry.
