He didn’t fight but he was responsible for conscription and ensuring industries still had workers to support the war. He was an interesting guy, he seemed to deeply regret his part and wanted to do anything possible to avoid another war like it, and in his position it made a lot of sense. I don’t doubt he blamed himself for a lot of those deaths given he had power over how many were conscripted

I miss the old Tommy; he used to represent a resistance to all the low life losers who only play the most broken political focus path and only make the most meta divisions with no creativity. The old Tommy would always stand up to that and choose something unique that wasn't necessarily the best, but was always distinctive and innovative. He sent out a message that he wouldn't follow the crowd and still beat them even at a disadvantage. He was a man of honor and was very respectable.
