So listen, for defending: always apply 2nd player pressure when you have at least 2 players in front of the ball (btw, once you apply it remove your finger from the pressure button, he will keep following the ball for a good amount of time automatically) now with controlled player don't press as long it's critical try to keep an eye on the movement of the attacking players (keep in your mind to minimize using dash while defending as much as possible to be able to follow the attacking players and cut the ball or stand in the direction of it) unless you have to make a run to follow those players going behind your defensive line! Hope this explains something ;)

I just love the way, how PES has changed. The Legend difficulty is great to play, after you have learned the whole game dynamics, as in Legend difficulty, you emphasise on intercepting vital half-spaces, which create lots of chances.

Pro tip : shoulder tackles are the most useful tool while defending! It becomes way easier to win the ball and to defend this way...also don't forget to double press and then go for shoulder tackles..also try to improve the defending (skill) of your defenders using trainers as well as their possession game..i hope this helps you out 9al
