Hikaru just showed exactly how to create an opening move from white. his first ten moves are perfect every single piece is double or triple protected and the line is incredible. obviously mid game and end game strategy are important and a lot of other good moves happen. but just look at the first 10 moves in minutes 18-19 and you understand why the guy is a grandmaster and ranked 1st or 2nd in the world and won the us 5 times. its hard to attack his side of the board because he's not reacting he's attacking while simultaneously defending. solid try though botez

I can see that the difference between GM's and IM's (and WFM) for that matter is confidence. Levy gets rattled by strong players as well, and gets nervous. I think both of you are better players than you show against very strong players. That's the difference.. confidence.
