And Hikaru always went into an endgame against Magnus which he never does over the board. Magnus is a god of endgame. And Hikaru always went into an endgame. Also I checked some of Hikaru's games on lichess analysis and Hikaru had like 1 inaccuracy and 0 mistake and blunder in few games while Magnus had like 3 inaccuracy 2/1 mistake and 1 blunder.

Hikaru just showed exactly how to create an opening move from white. his first ten moves are perfect every single piece is double or triple protected and the line is incredible. obviously mid game and end game strategy are important and a lot of other good moves happen. but just look at the first 10 moves in minutes 18-19 and you understand why the guy is a grandmaster and ranked 1st or 2nd in the world and won the us 5 times. its hard to attack his side of the board because he's not reacting he's attacking while simultaneously defending. solid try though botez

Just watch the most recent bullet match Nihal had with Hikaru, and the difference is still very big. However, the last time they had a long match, Hikaru adopted Nihal, so he’s getting closer but the ability gap is still large.

i can already feel hikaru humming the melody and moving his head to the melody and reading chat while making 99 accuracy moves. the only time he seriously looked up the celing was the move at 18:06 (or he was just distracted from chat). you can also see how nervous she got when the game started.
