I’ve played IDV since season 2! I’ve seen many hunters be outright strong and seemingly OP but you can always have a counter. This is the first Hunter in 6 years of playing that I’m terrified to go against. He needs a nerf or rework bad.

@@ventisupremacist6965 theres only 1 acrobat in a team, if you dont want to chase him you can avoid him and just get the other 3 and still win. you cant avoid hullabaloo because he *is* the hunter 😭 edit: simply, survs are in a team. if your teammates are bad then playing an op survivor wont help that. playing hunter you have full control - 1/4 of a team being op is different to 1/1 being op

He's weak to harassment, even if it seems like he isn't, you just need to keep balloon rescuing (with any surv that doesn't require direct contact so he can't counter with red zone) once he's at full pressence since kiting him is pretty much impossible. This new hunter might send the meta back to harassers and support to secure ties/wins like older COAs, or just sell and tie like gamekeeper when he was meta. I'd say Enchantress is somewhat good to support since her stun is small but good enough to make the hunter drop, and he takes a bit more effort to down a survivor than other hunters, but I believe batter would be the best choice, he's got his retrievable balls and distance to mess with the hunter.

14:09 actually fun fact about his clones: their detection range (the range at which they will track survs) is actually quite small. If no survivor is near you, instead the clone will just copy the direction you swung in. Which is actually exactly what happened here, the perfumer was too far away and so the clone just swung in the same direction as you (straight ahead as opposed to diagonally where the perf was) so you actually just kinda lucked into the perf's location lol.

3:00 the fact that the bot ran exactly how you needed it is so funny I think it's super interesting that they gave Hullabaloo some of Geisha's trick spots but in a way that avoids the absolute mess that Geisha's dash logic turned into. Obviously the jump isn't as versatile as Butterflies but.... it's interesting to me. also ik you only did it because you had to wait too long on NA/EU but I'm glad you got to try a new hunter in a less stressful environment :3

I've been playing hullabaloo a bit (sorry to everyone for the repetitive games) and currently, here's my opinions on traits and persona. He can make use of practically every single trait. Peeper helps him even more than others in chase to help place clones and just know where they are in general, patroller helps guarantee damage, and since he's so fast the distance he lost isn't that big of a deal, so it's another pretty decent one on him. Warp and teleport are, well, good for the usual reasons, but since he's so fast he has the potential to cover even more of the map, abnormal helps with cipher rush and since double decoders seems to quickly be becoming the meta against him that's good, especially since he has basically no cipher slow down, and excitement against some stunners since he has no stun resistance, but a good hullabaloo (couldn't be me) can just use red zone, and you could bring stun reduction persona. The only ones he doesn't really get value out of is listen and blink, but even blink can have value to work as an extra dash, or if you don't have presence yet. Trait summary: imo, bringing any trait except listen and blink are good, abnormal is probably one of the best choices, not sure how to rank the rest. As for personas, speed is basically useless, and attack recovery is actually useless (I tried, it does not change it at all) which actually makes his personas slightly WORSE than most hunters, despite most people saying he has the best. You basically have to bring detention, but practically every single one down that straight line is useless since they're all move speed and attack recovery, trump card's line is practically useless, but slightly better, insolence's line is pretty good, and confined space's line is fantastic. imo if you're a pretty confident player and don't want to use detention, then confined space + insolence is probably your best choice as every single persona has use, with abnormal or patroller as your trait because you want to end game before last cipher pops. However, most people will want detention, which inherently gives you less useful/useless personas due to atk recovery + movement speed, so you'd probably want confined space and max almost all of that whole section, but if you struggle to get damage early game then can bring insolence. TLDR: Just my opinion from playing for a bit, but I'd say that... Traits = Abnormal best, listen useless, blink fine but one of the worst, others still pretty decent. Persona = Detention + confined space if presence no problem, detention + insolence if it is, and insolence + confined space if you don't want detention, since detention does have the worst personas on its line. I'd say really good hullabaloo's would probably want confined space + insolence because of how much they all help him, but most people probably want detention

MIKE GAMING!!! hullabaloo is so cool. i love him so much hes sooo unique and so good and hes super sigma. anyway this season was awesome for me since new aesop limited and also mike!!! and next season we get kurt. idv is spoiling me (with skins i cant get) hopefully we can see more luca content soon. im hungry for luca content. viper was a cool limited but wheres his second limited. where are his millions of limited skins??? and why dont i have them >:( im like literally luca's biggest fan so like obviously netease should give me everything that luca has duh!!! okay but back on topic, hullabaloo is so unique and is so weak to cipher rush (like most hunters) but aside from that hes like actually a godsend. im looking forward to seeing him and goatman in tourneys since itll be nice inspiration to see how the pros play him! very excited for everything coming :D
