i'm so glad that you're finally playing this game myth, it's been one of my all time favourite pokemon hacks for years now. a few tips to get you started. the difficulty of this game is actually very grounded up until the elite 4. from then on the difficulty takes a spike, especially the champion. he's a pain to deal with if you're not ready for him. secondly, every static encounter you get is unique. as in, apart from that particular encounter, you won't be able to find that pokemon anywhere else in the game. so it's recommended you catch most of the static encounters, just in case you change your mind and decide you want to use them later. thirdly, all trade evolutions evolve at lv. 40. as well as other pokemon having different evolution criteria, eg - feebas evolves with a water stone etc and finally, be sure to talk to every npc. this triggers in game events, gets you good items or even good pokemon like the growlithe. this is also how you get dratini :) that's the basics for now, good luck

PRO TIP: you can speak to professor oak again after getting the pokedex from him and he will give you a gen 2 starter (recommend tododile) but when you talk to professor he will first offer chikorita but say no then talk to him again and he will offer cyndaquil then say no again then talk to him one more time then he will offer tododile.

Hey myth can I recommend the game called Darkwood as you seemed to enjoy amnesia. It’s a horror game in the “birds eye view” point of camera but it has no jump scares. You see from a cone so you will have to rely on your ears on the things you can’t see.

Last time I evolved a pokemon early with a stone, it didn't seem to learn any attack anymore. Maybe it was too early in the games, but I avoided doing it until some later attacks/levels after that.

6:20 A few penalties off the top of the head. On blackout, release strongest Pokémon in the party. On blackout, discard ALL held items by the party. You can’t get a duplicate of whatever was discarded unless it was a berry. On blackout, you cannot use anything besides vanilla Pokeballs.
