The only reason why I can think of stop not working is because when you go to fight clayton at that point in the game normally you don't have stop as a spell. Maybe Square never programmed him to react to it.

I thought it was because, like in other Final Fantasy games, Magic is only really effective on the magical. In Final Fantasy Tactics, you can become immune to magic if you just don't believe in it, meanwhile magic effects you more the more you believe in it. But its probably what you said.

I think the reason Stop doesn't work on Pot Centipede and Clayton is because you fight them before you get Stop(which you get from Parasite Cage) so the game isn't programmed to have them be affected by Stop.

When I was fighting ansem on kh1 for the speedster trophy I literally used summon at the bottom where I could stand and summoned tinker bell and flew up and bear him and got three trophies of not changing equipment, being the game under 15 hours, and not using a continue all in a row I felt so good doing this even though I did it on easy but the second time I fought ansem I summoned genie at the bottom and flying up to fight him but to be honest I think I did better with genie.

21:09 when you are not locked on during combat you can push triangle to make Donald and goofy say "don't give up" and I think it's supposed to make them come to you in case your being overruns they also get a little emote in a word bubble. 21:09 that's what this is but SUPER zoomed in. 19:39 I've Had this glitch on vanilla! It drove me nuts, loosing me a whole Proud Hade Cup ( happened at seed 2 ) and no one online reported a similar softlock! Tell me does your game run on a laptop's dedicated GPU or small Intel iGPU? I've been wondering if that was the cause but I can't force my game to use the Nvidia card anyway. If you run the game on a powerful rig then that means the glitchs occurs for a different reason...

On vanilla, currently the only way out of this glitch is in Olympus tournaments: you need to pause and select retry: the cutscene ensuing seems to fix the black void. ( Quitting won't work! ) I'm so glad Hades Cup is in 5 segments!

I have so far only encountered this issue in that room against the shadow soras, it seemed pretty consistent too which was frustrating. I have yet to do hades cup so ill brace myself for that thanks

@@DamonHunter13 Alright, remember the retry trick then, you don't loose XP, restore all HP/MP and go back to the beginning of the current set of 10 battles you were in. In fact, in mid game with aerora, you can grind the blue mushroom for 5000XP each retry once you beat the Hercules Cup that contains him on all rulesets.

Too bad this randomizer is not as polished as the KH2 Randomizer which is why nobody speedruns this. The reason this KH1 randomizer failed is because it fails logic* and put Cid in a place Ninten couldn't reach without Cid. Sadly, it looks like other KH games besides KH2 will not get a randomizer for a loooooooooooooong time. :( * Logic is the term for programming that ensures that the randomizer doesn't put a check in a place that needs the check. For example, in FFIV Free Enterprise the game will never put the check items to get to the underground(Magma Key and Hook) both in the underground or else you could never go there and be unable to get checks that might be needed(like the Crystal which you need to morph Zeromus into his damagable form) and thus make the game unbeatable.
