I don't usually comment on videos, but can I just say that you inspired me to apply to Oxford University last year and somehow I've been offered a place from Magdalen college to study law. Hopefully, if I do get in; I hope that I can encourage others to take up their rightful places in elite instiutions and not feel that (due to their social or ethnic background) they will never better themselves. We love you Ibz - so much! First of all because we have loved watching your journey to date and your real life way of relating to us all. You are a joy to view. Now - if you are doing the GDL and want to attend Harvard. Don’t apply for a Master programme, apply directly to Harvard’s JD program. It is number 1 in the US and sets the bar for all others. It stands for Doctor of Jurisprudence and is the degree required to practice law in the US and internationally as well and Harvard has PLENTY of specialisation tracts. If you have never checked it out, PLEASE DO!!! You ONLY need a Bachelors to apply for a JD in America because a Master is not essential. Your GDL will open that door for you!! Also, when it comes to essays for Harvard and the likes (and interview), unlike in Cambridge, they are looking for academic rigour and depth of knowledge but they are EVEN MORE interested in you as a WHOLE person so make sure to INCLUDE all the information of your extracurricular work and volunteering and leadership roles etc and MAKE SURE you tie it up in a continuous theme running throughout that BEST represents the full version of Ibz Mo AND his desire to change the world!! You have to take a DIFFERENT exam for a JD, NOT the GRE!!! Make sure you are aware of that! For Law you take the LSAT, which is the ONLY acceptable graduate entrance exam for law for a JD in America. The GRE is for EVERYTHING EXCEPT LAW AND MEDICINE. For law it’s the LSAT and for Medicine it’s the MCAT. When you finish a JD, you also have to sit ANOTHED exam called the Bar Exam that, once passed, makes you a full fledged lawyer (solicitor). PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE check out doing and getting into a JD program - Harvard or otherwise!!! I am an American who has emigrated to Britain just over a decade and a half ago. I have ALL my degrees from America, including my Master but have also studied here in Britain as well and have worked in both countries too. I have British American children who will enter university in a few years time. We enjoy watching your journey because one day it may be theirs (though, obviously not identical). If you need any pointing to places to find out more - please don’t hesitate to contact and ask. Have a STUPENDOUS time in Pakistan!! Cambridge will be lucky to ha s you another year!!

i'm from Singapore!! so excited you're coming to my country:) singapore culture is very unique and can be quite hard to navigate if you have any questions hit me up anytime! also before you come to Singapore you might want to learn a little bit of Singlish or at least try to understand it if you really want to find out more about our culture. Singlish is Singapore's slang essentially cos that's what we use to speak here, and it's quite hard to understand because Singapore is a multi-racial society (predominantly Chinese, Malay, Indian and others) so all our languages and dialects are mixed into one slang. We borrow words from the different languages and use it in our speech, so one sentence can have words from 4 or more languages and dialects. However if you can't understand Singlish you don't have to worry! All Singaporeans are educated in English and can code switch to perfect English easily since it's our first language. You may also want to know some Singaporean habits like using a tissue paper to "chope" (reserve) a seat at a food court etc. (it's actually very interesting). oh and also get ready for the heat cos it's so humid and hot all year round you'll never stop perspiring! hope you enjoy your stay in singapore!
