Sometime said it gets good again at the end, so I tried, and holy shit it does! It's not ground breaking or the best ever. But if you liked Smallville and just want to watch some good episodes, watch the last season. The last two seasons are good, but if you're really over Smallville then just watch the last season. It's the best send off of the series, and it you once liked it you deserve to see the series end right. Please watch it. A person said the same to me, so now I'm saying it to someone else. It's probably more likely that the disparity between senior members of staff and the workforce is so great it's just leading to massive inefficiency. I spoke to a game dev yesterday and he was saying how the bigger the corporations were becoming the more politics became enlarged. So you've just got higher ups saying "make it happen" and just keep throwing money at it whilst not addressing the underlying issue. I imagine the people who actually create are massively under the thumb of the execs: they either hire people who are young but easy to push around or squash anything risky due to the now clearly incompetent risk averse system they have put it in place over the years.
@davidmhh99773 ай бұрын
It's not even just a lack of budget. It's that the creators seem to have no idea what to do with this budget. There's just a lack of skill in front of and behind the camera. The sets look fake, the cinematography is just lazy, and the acting and plot aren't good enough to distract you from the technical issues. A New Hope on a technical level had way more limitations than anything Disney has put out, but it worked with those limitations infinitely better. The locations were well thought out They established scale with mat paintings, so you got a sense of size, even in small sets. Most notably, you cared about the plot and characters. Do things look dated by todays standards? Definitely, but you're interested enough that you don't even care. Flashy special effects will always look dated later. A good story is always timeless.

Definitely what we see in the Acolyte is sloppy CGI, without the care and love of its creators. There are buildings in this version of Coruscan't which are just copy and paste, scaled, enlarged, shrinked... The best games on the PS1 were pushing the limits of that incredible little system and what could be done AT THE TIME, with love, incredible programming and mad skills. @@Ohnonono123 Spin it however you want, but the fact is she cheated, twice. She even adresses this when she gets the poison. So yes, it is the point. She cheated.

@@Ohnonono123 Also, the cheating part was not only the weapon she used, but the way she used the Jedi weakness of helping others to distract her enough so she could do it. She was ordered to kill them with her hands, basically. And she has failed... Twice.

@@lupolinar more than 10, but less than 15. My guess is 12 or 13. Idk if it was officially revealed specifically how much.

Hey logan and about, Even Dune part 2. Had smaller budget too. And look how that filmed turned out. 😏🤷

Budgets are more meaningful when you put them in terms of money per hour of content. A 2-hour movie with a budget of $180M should and will look a lot better than an 8 episode streaming show that costs $180M. These shows set themselves up for failure by relying so heavily on expensive VFX/CGI.
