Alot of rappers pay $50-$100 for mixing or do it themselves with pre saved setups... in a run down location. Mixing cleans it all up so youd never know. Think of it this way, kanyes music is garbage and it sounds professional as recorded in a professional set up. Bryann trejos music is recorded in a garage and sounds spectacular and isnt professional. Dont be decieved, its not meant for everyone to do and the set up has nothing to do with is so you can mark that off. Its about the work you put in. Keep it real, my best friends a christian musician. He isnt professional, and stopped selling his music, but sounds extremly powerful compared to many of these artists everyone thinks is filled with the spirit with a cleaner sound.
