I hope they add transfer of items between space platforms. Great video!

Thank you, and yes, definitely - it seems like an odd ommission, tbh.

Little note about the tests: as far as I know those 16 instances ran on one machine. For the day to day testing, we don't run them with graphics (and with no sound, which makes testing sounds .. fun), just load up all your CPU cores with tests and run them as fast as possible.

Interesting - I guess the focus is more on testing system interactions than checking for things like graphical and audio glitches, then?
@Don-ol9irАй бұрын
@@trismugistus Practically all tests are about system interactions: initial setup -> some actions happen -> check output state. Running tests in graphics mode is mostly for show, but is also useful when creating tests. For audio testing, I don't test actual audio output, I have dummy audio resources in place and then I check "is sound X playing", "is volume of sound X less than Y", etc.

I have only been to gleba and vulcanus so far. I found gleba's music really grew on me and I enjoy it quite a bit now. Volcanus is hit or miss, some of the tracks are just so ominous and grand it gives me a bit of anxiety 😅

Yeah, I guess some of them were inspired by the demolisher concept and they feel like Godzilla is just about to come over the horizon, which can be a little disconcerting when you're just messing about building belts or similar.

There was a super scratchy & grungy piece on Fulgora that isn't on the album. My gf and I loved how weird and off-beat it was. It's a shame it's not there.

I have found that since they put the new "disk 2" for the album out it seems to be playing a greater range of tracks in game. I dunno, maybe there was a bug fix, but before it just seemed to loop a small handful, and I quite like some of the newer ones I heard on Fulgora.

@@trismugistus It's funny how perception works. Literally nothing has changed in the way how tracks are selected/weighted :)

Yeah, just me listening to it differently :)

Well, at least the title card was in large, friendly letters, could almost have written it as “Don’t Panic!”
