im loving this map 6 years in still have a 1.7 million loan but with the loan repayment mod i have got it down to 1 million. no matter how good harvest i have seem to have never enough cash even with 700 cows with dairy and bakery productions

HI Kederk, I had issues with losing the animal canes. I was messing around and figured out you can strap them. I bought a side x side threw them in the back and strapped them down, haven't lost them since.

Been catching up on this series and I noticed you had the same issue with harvest contracts as me. I was wondering if you ever figured out what was the problem with that?

Would you be ahead more by returning the lease on let’s say the silage chopper and then just leasing it for silage harvest and then return it afterwards? I’m thinking it’s around $20,000 for that lease. But I don’t know what it is costing you on the lease to own per year. Then you would not be getting charged that lease cost for a whole year.

I certainly could but I'm trying to play somewhat realistically. In our case using the lease to own mod the hours I put on the equipment reduces the purchase price. I'm hoping to be able to keep paying off these leased vehicles to own them rather than returning them.

Nah, I don't think it's an urgent thing for feed unless you are feeding nothing but hay and grass. Otherwise not great but not a disaster. I wouldn't stress until that point, IF you reach it. You definitely need to get rid of the loans though that is killing your profit a little. LOL Have fun.

I'm only going to get one more cut of the hay on my current fields, you think that's going to be enough to survive the winter mixing it at ~25% hay - 75% silage?

@@KederkFarms Possibly. Depends on the moo-moo's Lol. What I usually do with big numbers is plug them into a spreadsheet and keep a history on the numbers. That way you can see trends and whatnot.

I've been spreading the slurry every year, just need to wait until the crops get harvested.

Feald 21 is grass lease it just long enough to grass off and drop the lease i now its not the right way to do it but

Tbh sell 250 of the non producing cows for now and then you killed two birds with one stone.

I could certainly sell off the 500 non producing cows but kind of looking forward to having all the barns maxed out and productive. I think if I can just survive the upcoming winter we'll be set.

@@KederkFarms I agree it’s great I’ve watched all the episodes and felt accomplished when you got everything filled I think once you get a giant grass field figured out to where you can have so much grass that you can possibly in the long run turn a certain cutting into profit would be great
