That's the most interesting analysis I have heard of my arranging style! I can definitely agree that I started writing in 2002 with a FAMU influence and have over the years incorporated a little bit of "SWAC swag" lol.

yes!!!! I'm jealous first off the "bad" snippet in the tuba break was so cold, it didn't realize they were in the same key till you did that....(round of applause) Loved it

No, unfortunately. I keep missing each year and this was the one year I knew I was going to be there until I discovered I would be in Atlanta for a wedding. I still have my horn though and I have been ITCHING to pull it out and go to work. I still got my chops...just not my endurance lol. But I may be there in spirit because I'm sure some of my music will hit the band room lol

As a permanent gig on the collegiate level, no. We'll definitely see in the near future. I do arrange for my alma mater though, E.E. Smith High School in Fayetteville, NC.

LOL funny thing was I heard "Bad" in my head during the break before I discovered it was in the same key! Appreciate it bro...and hey still write the song! I'm interested to hear what things I may have missed or things you may hear differently

This is probably my favorite arrangement out all the ones you've done! Probably because I really just like this song lol. I feel it was made for Bands to play. Again Great work man! & check out some of my new arrangements when you get a chance.

Hey William, I actually don't. I use the stock percussion instruments that are installed with Finale 2011.

LOL I am slightly confused about the coughs, especially because I have not seen or heard A&T perform since the Adrian Carroll BOTB. I will say it is funny you mention E.E. Smith because another fellow alumnus requested that I write it but I had already beat them to it. Maybe they heard you guys play it, but I haven't. (**Goes to search for A&T's performance at Honda to hear their arrangement**)

Yeah bruh it was pretty good, but I don't believe it has as much prudential as yours lol...I was saying though if you were planning to bring a few of your arrangements out for the EE Smith Community Day...and were you planning to play in the alumni band this year?
