Wunderschön, takes me back 60yrs!! The unrestored ones catch my eye. Many jokes here in South Africa: The two exhaust pipes are there to push it like a wheelbarrow; The headlights are facing upwards so the Beetle can see the uphill to increase speed early enough. When the speedo needle reaches VDO at the bottom you are really going fast. The two dung beetles sat on the side of the road and each time a VW Beetle passed with the tjor sound the one said to the other: "Only promises but nothing else happens"! With a flat battery you jack up a rear wheel, switch on the ignition, second gear, turn the wheel and presto!! Broken clutch cable? With the correct revs it slips into gear like a knife into butter. I drove through rivers in flood with no problems!!!

@@peetschabort1080 thank you so much! I really love these stories. It is wonderful: in every part of the world there are so many memories and stories about these cars. They made our past...😊next video will be out very soon...a Volkswagen salvage yard in the US!

I'm feeling like a kid on Xmas morning ! That is SO beautiful, all in different shades of grey and black. That 4 door was amazing, in mint condition . I love Beatles, especially old ones, with the smaller windows and windshield . That mail truck was a giant "Thing" with a box on back . Best is that theyre all left hand drive since that's how it is in Germany . Thank you, Mr. Porsche; you made this world a better place !

My favorite bug was that one behind you in the beginning of this video, namely that ceramic green '60 with sunroof and snowflakes. I think it was the only "Herbie Generation" (1958-1964) bug that you showed in this vid. Back in the day, my dad had a ceramic green '60 (like in my thumbnail), I owned a turquoise '61, a red and a white '62 (both with sunroof, the latter I decked out like Herbie), and a blue '63. I also owned a '66.

That sounds good! I like the patina Beetles...just think of the history of all these beautiful cars...during my worldtrip I also went to a salvage yard in Arkansas - only vintage VW's...there will be a video too! Greetings...😊

You said to the Car with Number 331 on the door: This is one of the oldest. Yes! But you ignored, that this is no Typ 11, it's an extremely rare Typ 82E from WW2.
