NORTHEASTERN ADVENTURE EP 46
What can be done? There is so much food here in Benue State, there is a lot we can do. Driving around this country of ours I see in different places, food grown that could be used to open a production factory or be moved to places where they could be used to feed people. But does this happen, in this video, I highlight some of the things that we can do with the so much food that we have.
I hope you find the vlog exciting and give it a Like.

Nice one. At least some of the roads up North have shoulders and sidewalks compared to the dilapidated roads in the South East. Back in the eighties the North and Midwest had the best roads in the country but it appears subsequent administrations cared more about looting the State treasuries than building and fixing the State infrastructures. It's well.

Benue state is the food basket of Nigeria and a lot of fruits abound. In my village in Otukpo. My dad has over 400 hectares of orange orchard just wasting away. I am planning to go back to Nigeria and start a small processing plant soon. Thanks for sharing this video to the world.

Watching your videos, Bigwillz, it's kind of heartbreaking to see, from current news reports, what Nigeria is going through now. Especially when your videos show the incredible potential of the land and people there. With the right government, Nigeria would be one of the top economic powerhouses in the world.

We hoped that we were going to get better leadership in the last election. It did not go the way we thought. Hopefully next election may give us the leadership we deserve.

That's what we face when going from Abuja to Ogoja ooo, we hope that one day the federal government 'll remember this road ooo. Nigeria is blessed with so many good things but our leaders 're blind and they've no vision, is really sad. God 'll give some of us the power to open up a factory that 'll be producing all kings of justices, like mango juice, Pineapple juice and orange juice..

Nice drive!That is the most eastern highway corridor leading to calabar in cross rivers state.The road need to be dualised as well,like makurdi to Abuja section,all the way to calabar.That would open up the whole of that eastern region for industries and large scale farming.How can anyone think of industry there when he or she is struggling in potholes and narrow roads?The asphalt should be milled out and the road resurfaced atleast,before it becomes deplorable and cost more billions to fix.Unfortunately,Nigeria has no government but looters,common potholes they cant seems to be able to fix nevermind constructing a dualcarriage road..Even to pack rubbish from city is too much work for Nigerian government yet they get paid billions monthly for doing nothing..Thank you.

Why don’t someone build truck stops for the trucks and other vehicles to park instead of the drivers parking along the highway which can pose safety problems to other vehicles?
@Bigwillz

Rest places should actually be built to prevent accidents. I think former Kaduna state government built two places in the state for that purpose.

The roads are under-designed for the type of vehicles using it. The vehicles are too heavy to use the poorly designed pavement and there is no monitoring of vehicle weight as there are no weigh stations along the roads. The roads are not maintained, etc. These are recipes for the roads go bad. Nigeria road users should form organization and vote against politicians who do not prioritize infrastructural development.
