This has no correlation to the debate between state socialists and anarchists. Most anarchists are, after all, communists. Also what is it that anarchists are denying the existence of? The state? Capitalism? Patriarchy? White supremacy? The recognition of the existence of these and a system of robust analysis about how they function, is at the center of anarchism.

Yeah, he's poking fun at how anarchists are dogmatically against "unjust" vertical hierarchies, and yet they refuse to acclimate such beliefs to the actual conditions. Historically, anarchist projects have crumbled from counterrevolution & a lack of central power structures, which is why the Leninist concept of Vanguard parties was essential to ML projects. If anarchists bothered to learn from the L's of anarchist projects, then they wouldn't be anarchists.

I have heard it said that anarchists believe that “any hierarchy that cannot be justified should be dismantled” or something like that. I agree that hierarchy is bad. Power corrupts people every single time. That’s why I believe that countries should be run by a group of people instead of individuals. Checks and balances should be at every level

I would oversemplify myself too many concepts… specially considering english is not my native language. Anarchism is based on guidelines of respect of any individual liberty: my freedom ends where yours begin. The keyword here is not freedom or liberty, it’s RESPECT. This does not only apply to humans. It’s based on a bouce of ideals very hard to apply in the world we live in, therefore i, for example, respect the laws that i agree with, like traffic laws. I have a driving licence. Or basic laws like don’t hurt others, don’t steal what belongs to other individuals… But being anarchism based on guidelines and not a doctrine, my idea might differ from others. I could go on so long but yt doesn’t seems to like long comments

Anarchists deny the obstacles to eliminating the need for a state. Before we can live without a state, we need a strong state that defends regular working people from the bankers, CEOs and large landlords. We need a government of the people, by the people, for the people, and we need to raise the standards of living so everyone has what they need. Then, it will become possible for the need for a state to disappear.

@@DonDeering We will always need a state and a government, the thing is that the more democratic it is, the more horizontal its structural hierarchies are going to be, and as long as the working class doesn't earn an equal share of the profits, while also enjoying less work for the same pay because of technological advancements in production technologies, such horizontality will not be possible because simply put, you can't have democracy if working people can't afford neither the time nor the resources to be politically active... The problem is not with hierarchies, is with verticality of power.

Maybe anarchists aren't the best example to demonstrate cases of metaphysical/idealist reasoning but many of them do unfortunately adopt that reasoning instead of dialectical materialism because of the political vaccuum that the collapse of the international socialist bloc (lead by the USSR) created. It created a situation where most people's introduction to progressive political ideas would be in academia/universities, which tend to have a very strong liberal bias.
