The first part of the video with narration are the parallel universe. Xiumin flew as he was trying to plug the wires because his power is Frost and its not a good combination with electricity. They really embraced the comic book style with this concept. Parallel worlds, robot villains, superpowers, bright colours and action sequences. With their superpower concept and intricate storyline from the start, EXO have always been similar to a graphic novel to me. And with The War album in 2017 (this is the title track) they went all the way into that aesthetic. They even released a comic book called The War that came with the album and continued/fleshed out the story. Such a fun idea and I wish they had continued that plotline and given us some resolution? But that rarely happens ahahahaha

I love how silly that MV was 🤣🤣The power comeback actually came with a comic story that sadly was a one time thing it was so cool tho. EXO's power is Ice (Xiumin), Water (Suho), Light (Baekhyun), Thunder/Lightening (Chen), Fire (Chanyeol), Force/Earth (D.O.), Air (Sehun) and Teleportation (Kai). In fact the whole era was, especially with the comic Book teasers they dropped for the MV plot of EXO concept, also Power was the first kpop song ever to join the permanent songs list of the biggest dancing fountain in the world and that's Dubai fountain along great artists like Adele, MJ and Whitney Houston ❤

As you could see, the mv has many scenes that are related to other mvs. It is a characteristic of EXO to maintain the narrative from the beginning in relation to the story of them having arrived from EXOPLANET to Earth. At the beginning during the introductory narration you can see them all in a room, that scene is called Parallel Universe and it contains such a quantity of details that even for EXOL were surprising to analyze it. Power is, as you said, a song that fills you with energy and we usually like to listen it when we are on our way to school, university or work, to fill us with optimism. Power is part of the repackage of the album The War called The Power of Music. The album itself comes in a beautiful case that contains photocards where they look like "Power Rangers" and a comic that remains in "to be continued" when Baekhyun falls into the ocean, like at the end of the mv (the melody belongs to the song Sweet Lies). The continuation of that comic has not been published; We hope one day the company decides to do it. For now, there is a theory that the name of Baekhyun's solo concert tour in 2024 called "Lonsdaleite" is related to that scene in the mv, showing that after falling, he comes back stronger than a normal diamond. Sorry, you know I get really excited when I talk about EXO😅
