It's interesting how everyone that Hinata talked to - Ukai, Suga, Kageyama - are (or used to be) setters, so they might be a bit biased and fail to see things from Hinata's/a spiker's perspective... I really like this conflict because you can definitely see both sides. On one hand, Kageyama is right that they should practice what actually works, instead of wasting time on something that might end up being totally useless at the end. But Hinata's right that they won't get better if they don't try new things, and if they don't come up with new attacks and someone stops the one that's been working so far, they're in trouble. Honestly, I don't really think there's a right side here, both of them are kinda gambling with whether their idea will actually work out. They might just stick to their old and reliable attacks but if they're stopped by their opponents, it's over. Or they might work on new attacks to avoid this, but if it doesn't end up working out or they can't perfect it before their official matches, it's also over. Also, although he was super childish again, props to Oikawa for giving actual useful advice to Kageyama😆 It's so cool how he can see the situation so clearly despite being so young and not even being on their team.

One thing I like about this ep is that it also shows that there's still a ton of room for improvement in Kageyama's technique. His talent was taken as a given throughout all of season 1, and he's still a genius who's by far the most technically skilled of the team, but he's also still just a first year high schooler and there's still a lot for him to learn.

Great reaction!! 1. Kageyama knew Oikawa will be there and he went there on purpose to see Oikawa. 2. Hinata never feels satifised even their quick is very powerful becuase he knows he cannot play volleyball with Kageyama forever, if you look at your reaction to EP10-11 at 8:05 Hinata's expression when he hits the ball, he looks very sad. That is why he always look things further, not only for the benefit for current team, but also for his volleyball career after high school. Kageyama's perspective is more focus on curren team strength, so you are right, they are both not wrong.

@@Svenreactions yea there are many deep but subtle details in haikyuu that you will not notice first time watching. Besides the sports part, many concepts it deliverd are great too.😘

I love how everyone is starting to evolve and incorporate things they've seen. I saw someone say they're like crows gathering 'shiny things', and I do think it applies.
