Apparently, NintendoVS hosted another online Smash Ultimate tournament. So I wanted to react to grand finals because apparently, we got characters like...Lucario? Wii Fit? Ganondorf? This is definitely an online tournament...

Top Ganondorf vs Average Steve moment. Also, 9:44 it's certainly an eyebrow raiser when Steve's bread and butter, baby combos with his wood tools does better than any Ganondorf opening. Like how Marss pointed out before how Steve's wood Bair, his "weak" aerial, is stronger than ZSS's Bair. This character is sooo overtuned.

He was a three sport d1 athlete at the university of Oregon playing football basketball and track, he’s done commentary for the Portland trailblazers. Im not 100% certain, but I think the reason ganons up b sometimes ignores the blocks is because it gains a hitbox on his first that punches through them part way through the move. it doesnt have that hitbox right at the start though, so if he is too close to the block when he starts it he gets stuck under it.

The interesting thing about Ganondorf is that he doesn’t CARE if Steve has resources. Steve with and without resources destroys Ganondorf to equal extents. Combined with Steve’s relatively stubby range and slow movement, Ganondorf players actually have a better matchup against Steve than most other top-tier characters.
