I love how you shop with your kids! They are so sweet and well behaved. I couldn't imagine filming, thrifting, and taking care of 3 young kids at the same time. 🎉

It is definitely tricky! But I definitely didn't film my two year old always trying to climb out of the cart! 😂🤣

I guess that lady has never been to a thrift store where the parents leave their kids in the toy section and then they go shop? Your kids were very well behaved and I am glad the day turned around when a nice ADULT showed you and your children some kindness and generosity! Thank you for making this video and sharing your day, I hope your daughter had a wonderful birthday!

Yes it was so nice of the lady at the grocery store! I have actually had to help children a couple of times, find their parents because they were lost at the goodwill bins. My kiddos have to stay right by mama! Lol

When my son was little he was my little shopping buddy (and still is at 24)! He was so well behaved and never screamed or cried or tried to run away from me. I used to get compliments all the time about how well behaved he was 😊

It's a good idea for kids to pick a toy up and keep them occupied but I believe that the parents should buy them a lot of kids playing with stuff and gets left behind at broke

Hello, I am a senior citizen and I am not on social media sites. Do you have any dangling clip-on earings for sale? I cannot afford much, only being on a very fixed income. I don't even have a Smartphone as they are too expensive. The earings must be clip-ons and dangling. It is hard for me to get to thrift stores because I don't have a car and have to take buses. Thank you. P.S. I once was in Appleton WI when I used to have a friend that lived there in about 2010. Nice area! I was only there for about 8 or 9 days. Went to a few nice thrift shops in that city and Houdini Museum.

@@LilyworksakaRachel Hi, I clicked the link you provided but there are so MANY options to click on once you are there. I really don't know which one to click on to see the clip on dangling earings. As I mentioned, I don't know too much about these social media sites, so can you please provide further instructions as to what option to cllick on once you are at the site link you provided to actually see the earings? Thank you.

Wow. She was rude! I thought your kids were great! They shopped and looked at things with you! They weren't running around. It's how you make them love what you are doing! It's a thrift store, not a high fulutent store. Shame in her!

She was probably sighing at the noise, not the presence of the kids.
@LilyworksakaRachel7 ай бұрын
Either way it is not appropriate to roll your eyes at kids
@chrismatheson43767 ай бұрын
It's a thrift shop for goodness sake. Don't stop taking your children in with you. If that woman doesn't like noise she could always visit a library or a cemetery!
@LilyworksakaRachel7 ай бұрын
Haha! Well it's definitely not ideal to take the kids But every once in awhile. It is good that they learn how to handle things gently and to try to be patient

I do not have any children, I do steal my nieces and nephews a lot. Your job as a parent is to teach your kids how to act in public. And from what I seen in the video you've done a great job but everything you have done could have been taken away from your 6-year-old by that one woman's attitude. That is a big problem to me. We not as thrifters as humans and I believe you said it was a woman and your daughter will be a woman one day. We are here to lift each other up, not to tear each other down. And I want to thank you for posting this because I love to see families out shopping together. Whether it's a mother and daughter out shopping together or a grandmother and a granddaughter, a father and a son, a father and a daughter. I love to see that because that's what my parents did. Maybe if this happens again, use this as a teaching moment to your child. You make a decision everyday with your attitude and a bad attitude gets you nowhere.

I am so sorry you and the children had to experience that…but thank God,you had a great experience after that.🙏🏻🥰 I think you found some beautiful items..That Fenton lamp is GORGEOUS❣️😍So beautiful! And ofcourse the unicorn was beautiful too..😄🦄Your daughter chose the best one.I hope that she had a fantastic birthday.🎂🧁🎈🎁🎉💝I am from the Netherlands and here we write her name like Annalies but I am not sure how you write it in the States..🫣😊

@GrandeChartreuse6 ай бұрын
Children are people. Imagine saying that about any other group of people and how “they” don’t belong somewhere. Being a mom can be very isolating when we feel like no one wants us anywhere if our kids are with us. So rude. You are not entitled to a “child free” world.
