Wow. People are really being mean about this talented soul??? WHY??? People can be so nasty 😔. I have a disability that massive affects my life and I feel ashamed but I worked my ass off while I could (and still do voluntary!). My gift is mathematics and accountancy but people still find it surprising when they know about me . I have ehlers-danlos syndrome, bad asthma , underactive thyroid, no spleen and a plethora of heart and joint problems. I dislocate frequently but people still make me feel like shit because I "don't work" and I "look normal" I work myself silly every day of my life because I don't know any other way. My earnings were way superior to anything I could ever get from the government and I hate that I need to rely on anyone, never mind the government. I could work from home and do a great job. My body might be weak but my mind is strong. Jesus, i did my whole degree from bed recently and passed with honours! I do not have this beautiful young lady's talent but shame on anyone who disses her because of their own prejudices. I have only seen her on your channel but I will be sure to spread it! P.S anyone needing financial advice or accounting, let me know 🤭

Since hearing Ms. Ariani's incredible song, I've been following some threads on the net & came across your entry. It, along with some others I've read, have been most impressive as to the degree Putri's performance seems to truly move people. I find it incredible that for one so young as, Ms. Ariani's not only KNOWS the blues, but can relay them in a most expressive way. As someone who has made a living for decades in the music industry (on this side of the mike), I'd often wondered what it is that draws such a large & varied audience to The Blues. This young woman & her incredible performance makes it clear. She conveys the emotion in such a way that what is a shared negative emotion can be soothed by "puttin' it out there". Just look at the expression on Cliff's face while he's experiencing this performance. I'm reminded of a story I heard long ago: this guy comes across another guy who's banging his head against a wall. Guy #2 asks "why are you doing that?" Guy #1 answers: "because it feels good when I stop". I feel the same about the blues. They show me that I'm not dead, but alive & flourishing. CD, NYC

I just realized and read lately that a lot of rejection and protest from AGT fans when Putri got her golden buzzer, and pointed that simon cowell was to weak and want him to step down from AGT judges, for me that was unbelievable, and so happy from your point of view to defend and stood up for her, since this is not because she wants to chase her dream, but most importantly she's well deserved to get our appreciation because she sang with her soul and she's also as song writer, no matter with her own original song "loneliness" or with every cover songs she sung., really made us have more understanding the ambience of real situation of that song.

BIG PREFACE..... This is NOT a hateful comment, this is commentary on the genre or type of singer. This is my first time EVER, seeing her, hearing her, or even knowing she exists, I purposely decided not to google her ailment before I wrote this in order to keep any bias out of my thoughts, so here we go....(ᵖˡᵉᵃˢᵉ ᶠᵉᵉˡ ᶠʳᵉᵉ ᵗᵒ ᶠⁱˡˡ ᵐᵉ ⁱⁿ ᵒⁿ ʰᵉʳ ᵈⁱˢᵃᵇⁱˡⁱᵗʸ, ᴵ ʷᵒᵘˡᵈ ᵃᵖᵖʳᵉᶜⁱᵃᵗᵉ ⁱᵗ) I thought her voice was absolutely phenomenal, and her passion and making you feel the song was very good too, but I have a slight issue with these singers that start out this young, Angelina Jordan is another one. First off, do they really want to be doing this, or is it family/peer pressure once someone hears how good their voice is, not saying that's the case, but that's always in the back of my mind. Along with that, like Cliff said, this song must mean something to her, it can't though can it?? A love song so deep?? Just like when Angelina Jordan sang "Back To Black" by Amy Winehouse, it sounded beautiful, but not only did they have to change a few words due to profanity, how can someone at 14,15, hell, even if they still have a single digit in the first number of their age, have enough life experience to truly portray the emotions that inspired this song. I mean yes, it's technically a "performance", but what we like about performers that sing, is that you get the feeling they've experienced suffering, pain, sadness or heartbreak the same as us, and convey that in their music. Second, no one is denying their voices are not spectacular, they truly are, but often they start at such an age that their voice is not developed completely and certain notes and octaves are easier to hit when your vocal cords, and other anatomical areas that influence your voice, are smaller and still developing. I'm not saying that all teens and young adults can sing at this level, I'm saying it's like little league, some kids develop the muscles to hit or pitch, at a younger age, along with some raw talent, and they absolutely own the game, but then they hit high school or college, and everyone else's physical body has caught up, and all of a sudden these little league super stars are just "pretty good". Lastly, due to my first, second or both points, and due to people's fascination with kid stars, are they getting set up for a disappointing adult life, when people, agents, promoters, algorithms, whatever... don't see the child star, and just see another singer who's pretty decent and go meh, how's that going to affect them? Then again, who am I or anyone to tell anyone else other than our own children, what to do or how to live their life, especially if they have a good support network around them. You just see soooo many child actors and singers go down a dark path as adults, guess I'm just a worry wart like my father before me. I truly wish this beautiful young lady all the success in the world, but mostly I wish her a happy full life doing what makes HER happy, and feel fulfilled. ✌️💚
