theory: Zander always listened to his parents arguing when he was younger, one day, he overheard them talking and saw him dad leaving. That was the last he saw of his father. On from his childhood, his personality became colder and had trust issues(?) the music club was his escape from the world, same as it was to Hailey. It made him feel safe, Zander had found a good family that he was happy with. (That’s why he was protective and didn’t want Jake to ruin the music club.)

I have so many theories but this is my main one for a big backstory for Zander 1: Zander (Alexander) was held in an abusive home before and he started to become stressed and upset from times. After when Hailey’s dad marries Zander’s mom, Hailey supported Zander a bit. Even when he pushed her away, she’d supported him no matter what. From the belief of Zander being a shy kid at the age, Luke supported him and they became close as childhood friends. That’s when they got to highschool and that’s where Jake and his gang started to pick on them, both Hailey and Zander. Zander then gets his mad side onto their gang. Therefore Hailey decided to make The Music Club and they would practice. Then Millicent (Milly) and Sean came along then Jake came along.
