Fun fact: WINNER did go to New York to film teaser concepts/photo shoot for their album for their debut in 2014. Also, ICs went to the airport to greet them and they were so shocked that they had fans waiting for them. Seriously the most humble and precious boys and they still are the most humble/precious men. As other comments have mentioned “EMPTY” and “COLOR RING” were a double title track for WINNER’s debut and full debut album called S/S 2014. The debut concept was MODEL WINNER/fashion show and their debut teasers and photos were legit EDITORIAL FASHION MAGAZINE! Very elegant and classy af and that’s how YGE promoted WINNER. The model like idols who debuted with a very mellow/emotional songs which is very unique for a debut group. Usually groups debut with a hard hitting or power kind of song, but WINNER debuted with two sentimental emotional songs and yet still topped the charts and literally became MONSTER ROOKIES! 2014 introduced us to AMAZING GROUPS too! AKMU, WINNER, GOT7, MAMAMOO, RED VELVET, and LOVELYZ to name a few!! Also, to verify YES.. “EMPTY” was composed by Hanbin and it was a song he wrote after WIN. However, it became a song that YGE executives/producers felt would fit with another YGE group. It ended up with WINNER and that was totally fine with Hanbin because he also has such a strong bond and support for his WINNER hyungs. Just like how Yoon was okay with giving and guiding Yedam with WAYO as well as Yedam returning the favor and giving BORN TO LOVE YOU to Yoon. They knew they will give justice to those songs and emote the true messages of those amazing songs. YGE artists has always been composing, supporting, and even featuring in each other’s songs and MVs since forever!!! It’s been a thing especially back in old YG family days. It’s a shame that there’s just so much division or at least trolls/antis within YGE fandoms that cause issues and wars with each other. Like why? Just support all YGE artists? If they can’t support certain groups, then these trolls drag them for no reason or discredit their accomplishments just because they want that narrative that other YGE artists want clout” or piggy backing on their “faves” back. It’s getting even more ridiculous every day with these inner fanwars in YGE fandoms. I honestly don’t understand them at all. 😆

Im so happy there is a youtuber like you who likes winner. Winner has few MVs but there B-side songs are so good and sucks that YG doesnt post a lot of their love performances. Would be worth listening to LaLa, My Bad, Boom, Dont be Shy and my favorite emo song “For”, its from their Everyday album. Someone posted the live performance but it was taken down but maybe you can listen to a lyric video. Their vocal Prowess in that one really shines through. Also please listen to Different live, the original 5 version. Baby Baby and Sentimental are also nice when there was 5 of them.
