So… Serpent Wasn’t Nerfed… - My Best Counter To Serpent

This fight could have been about 10s faster if I had Deep Wounds at 5/5 and if I was better at knowing which specials to use. I also would have finished with more health with 5/5 Deep Wounds because the bleed would have been 2.5s long, meaning I could heal over that period.

even with 5/5 deep wounds u would have got 0.5 seconds of bleed, so thats like 0.2 second increase and 3800 extra damage, which wouldnt have been enough to heal you and damage him enough for the win

@himanshuborah117 no, Deep Wounds is a flat duration increase. Try it out yourself. You’d have the bleed for 2.5 seconds which is a lot of healing and heal prevention. The Duration increase from Deep Wounds is added AFTER Serpent’s reduction.

I find Rintrah the best option for Serpent because his neutralize is increased to 200% against Cosmics and the Superior class so you completely shut off Serpents Death immunity and you neutralizing that true focus you can free dex his specials

Serpent is an excellent defender, but also kinda wild how he has almost 30 separate abilities that make him who he is, meanwhile some champs barely have 5

I don't think the people protesting against Serpent would be protesting if they had teir7. In other words, the best and fairest time to weaken the Serpent is when most players have it. By then, though, no one will have lost interest in Serpent's nerf.😂

@@knightnvrendingfortheswarm5341 my counter is a r3 kushala, who is by far way better that wigra for serpent. I’m standing firmly on the fact that he is unbalance and the balance team failed to adjust him accordingly. We don’t want defenders like this to have a shelf life which is what he has, a new attacker will come out and eventually invalidate him as a defender entirely. Or worse, the whole cosmic class.. such is the nature of things with no balance, it becomes chaos. 😂

@@knightnvrendingfortheswarm5341 here’s the weird thing.. there are very few counters to serpent but for example my kushala does be healing from blocking his specials she’s generally that good at fighting him but look at onslaught, with very high skill and an expensive device you can skill him down slowly but there are 0 proper counters to onslaught especially since he counters all of the metal tech champs that would have worked if not for the metal ability..

@@knightnvrendingfortheswarm5341 the problem in serpents case is that these counters in particular are countered and heavily hindered by nodes that naturally work with serpent as a defender. White tiger is a violently random and unreliable counter, I can’t use her for shit to fight him but I can use other champs more easily, whom are specifically switched off by certain nodes. It’s a balance thing not because he’s a hard defender but because he’s simply an unbalanced defender. There is a difference..
