Was about to ask y'all to reconsider some of the suggestions I'd sent a week ago, but then realised as I read the replies to some of the other comments that it's been included in the list and will be done soon. Kudos to another great reaction! Beatness' musicality is up there with the best, and his routines are always clean (clean as in the quality of music). There's a reason why Beatness was the winner of the GBB 2018 loopstation. So-so's music is very techno and futuristic, and tbh, I don't enjoy this genre as much. But nevertheless, both are amazing and talented artists in their own right. I'll be eagerly waiting for some of the other loopstation reactions to drop.

Right on my friend, we always write down the suggestions on a list and we go in chronological order. I used to be a functions DJ so taking "requests" is systemic for me. It's fair and that way I don't ruin my Karma. We're doing all of the Battles first and then we'll watch showcases and "compilations." I hope that helps, we do appreciate everyone's requests/suggestions but we're only doing one a week. Which seems crazy but it let's me go back and focus on it for the week and really break down what's all going on. I hope that doesn't sound to insane, but I'm using this as a learning tool as well to get me to pace myself. We do absolutely love live looping and beatboxing so it's really fun for us to wait and watch one a week together. I've also been trying to make my own once a week so I can try to get better. KZbin is an awesome learning tool for both the viewers and the creators. :) I 100% agree that beatness is outstanding and soso is amazing as well. I dig them both. I'd love to see them in person, one day. Thank you for watching, and I hope you enjoy the next ones too.

Beatness did that solo by making each one of the output effects a transpose and making them different notes. So he can essentially play 4 notes: the root, transpose 1, 2, and 3 respectively. Then at the end he turns the transpose up on one channel manually for the super high note

Ok, so it's almost like an MPC technique. That's incredible. Thank you for taking the time to explain that too by the way. I appreciate you. Is there a place or some source you would suggest to learn more about the track fx? Or is everyone just experimenting with stuff? I really feel that's my weakness right now. Not my only one, but it's the one I've identified and would like to fix.

@@JetpackSuperheroes man, i don't know exactly what u want to learn, bc i don't even have a RC505 and i don't know how it works. I just love watching the loops. Anyway, I know that Swissbeatbox channel has a series of short tutorial videos presented by MB14. It may be able to help you.

JetpackSuperheroes honestly I learned that by watching rounds. Specifically, slizzer vs mb14 from 2017. Slizzer makes one chord then plays with transpose to make a progression. For most stuff I’d say I either watched rounds closely (what knob are they turning? How many buttons did they hit? Input or output? That narrows it down to a manageable amount to just use trial and error on your own.) and by watching every tutorial I could find on the 505. There are plenty of videos on effects and how to blend them. Highly recommend the entire SBX series with MB14, Thorsen’s setup video, brez’s song tutorials (these get into the nutty gritty of making his tracks,) and Arthur Henry’s tutorials on effects.

Ok totally solid, I feel like I'm at least on the right track then. I'm trying my best to learn from the battles. I also watch vision elf tutorials too. Solid call on NME vs Brez, we've added that one to the battles list and it will be done in two weeks. I haven't seen Brez yet so that will be great. haha We would only do them after we've done all of the battles, I like to be surprised by things. I know it's super tough to not watch by myself, but Paul and I watch one a week. Then during the week I go through and try to learn as much as I can from it. :) It kinda reigns me in a bit and makes me focus. :)
