God this takes me back my gosh I really frigging miss those days when things were just so much more simple and I never had all of this bloody stressful shit I have nowadays my god if I could go back to them days I think I'd do it in a heartbeat straight away and then if I could stay there and time didn't change it was just the summer of 2008 just over and over again and then maybe after a few months of that summer it moves forward to the summer of 2009 and then 2010 the summer of when the first lockdown first happened aswel that was a really nice summer for me even though we were going through such an awful time in our history I actually had such an amazing summer and really enjoyed it actually even though I felt awful for enjoying myself while the rest of the world was going through such tough times me and my best friend who I was living with at the time when it all kicked off cuz I was staying with her for a short while but then the lockdown happened and so I literally had to stay with her because I couldn't move back to my actual home so me and her and her daughter were stuck with each other lol until I was able to leave but we had such an amazing time going out for walks together and going over the field opposite her flats and playing with the kites and Frisbee and just playing all sorts of different games together we had so much fun and I enjoyed them days while listening to tunes like this song all summer long x
