I agree but tbf it also created some weird consistency problems... And if they left the longer lifespan with the good homing you could probably have some messed up multihits when you add pierce to it. Price to pay for a better tower (and it still looks neat imo)

Idk how many people notice it that much but I really like the fact that you play a bunch of different maps on all your videos, rather than it being something like logs/resort or one of the hardest maps every time. Having the variety of maps really helps make every video feel unique and not stale.

The second nevermiss decrease was because, with the 1.5 second lifespan, the nevermiss darts were so reliable at waveclear that people were full clearing even some modestly advanced maps with just the nevermiss/spectre. The decrease is to make it so that it can't as easily cover 2 lane maps and positioning matters more.

Surprisingly, the low lifespan of darts makes the change feel much less of a buff, since usually, the best place for a nevamiss is at the very back. And now it has very little dart lifespan after hitting a target, meaning if it slightly deviates and misses a bloon, it ends up circling and expiring before using up most of its pierce, while the old one would last long enough to use almost all of it.

The proximity part is a straight up lie, most likely written by marketing failing to properly translate what the devs are telling them. Adora's bolts (and these new darts) speed up when their *angle towards its target* is 0, or close to 0. They probably heard "Angle is close to the target" had no idea what that meant, and just lopped off the "Angle" part so it makes sense

The reason the lifespan was massively decreased is because it would be absolutely ridiculous if you could just put it in the furthest edge of the map from the entrance because it lines all the darts up single-file which essentially gives it the ability to have every single shot maximize pierce, which ends up totaling to to a ridiculous amount of damage for like $4k.

0:20 What is that nonsense? All darts always homed. It's just that the one shot in the wrong direction took longer to turn the bend. But they always turned and homed regardless. As I am someone who always places a nevermiss as far from the entrance as possible so that I get that reliable straight line of darts towards the entrance, I can guarantee you that half the darts that were shot offscreen always returned after a second and homed towards the bloons. The lifespan change is annoying as that means it doesn't go well with any pierce increases now. And honestly, I never experienced any darts missing with my placement, therefore I believe this is a nerf. With correct placement, you never missed a dart anyways and it was better with pierce buffs with better lifespan. Now you don't need the proper positioning to hit all darts, but you benefit less from pierce buffs. Therefore, it's more noob friendly but has less potential. Actually a straight up nerf and youn calling it a "wild change" is just stupid ngl. It was never missing with proper positioning. People memeing on it were just bad.
