@@mbyard356 I make them to order. So I place 5 sets in stock a day and make whatever gets ordered. I only recommend the blasted finish if you want to try your own finish because it will gather scratches quickly. Tumbled or weathered is much better in that regard.

@@S7ORM3X I don't think I will anodize aluminum. I'm a one man show and it is a lot of effort to do proper and consistent. I do offer Cerakote. As for Ti, I will eventually work with it one day when I can find an affordable supply. No solid plans on that.

liner-less scales I got for my vision fg several months ago and completely changed the knife for the better!! the knife out of box was way to heavy as well as thicker than it should have been. The liner less scales really make it perfect.

Honestly, my We Knife Co. Vision R could easily be a one and done. If I really had to nitpick, I could find a few small design tweaks to make it perfect, but it’s overall such a good knife. Easy to use, sharpen, maintain, comfortable in the hand, and it looks like something from the future. I’m following SNECX’s work closely to see what he comes up with next!

Actually the pocket clip on the vision fg is pretty nice… after you take it off and pound on it. I wish I could attach a picture of mine now. It’s not a Loch Ness monster any more. Now it’s the same shape, but much lower profile. Just enough to clear jeans but not jammed into your hand and it still has the bill that MC hates(good in my opinion). The bill is flat against your hand which I prefer and also gathers a bunch of pocket seam before having to start lifting up to take it in. Just way lower profile now. Hammer and some paper so you don’t mess it up and another hard surface. Good to go.

In this “weight class” I’d say this is damn near the best option. If you go a little pricier (or want it made in America) - you go for a magnacut Deka. If you need something a little beefier yet still a great value - Sage 5 and Manix 2. I need to issue qualifiers for this because I just can’t get comfy with that lock. Same reason I didn’t hang on to my Demkos. Using the lock is no issue, but the little tab just hits the webbing of my hand in a weird way. It isn’t painful or anything, just feels weird.

The only thing that has put me off this knife has been its weight. Currently, it’s a bit of a beast to carry in your pocket. So this is an interesting solution; but hopefully Civivi will bring out other, lighter versions. P.S. i like the holes.

If somebody wants this knife I suggest the knife center model. I used to love this knife but I really can’t stand their nitro v. It’s very chippy which is weird for a steel that is supposed to be fairly tough. Also the fg has a stop pin not far from the edge so after a few sharpenings you’ll be pretty close to where it lands. Now I find it just to be a meh knife.

I don’t like the thumb studs placement on the FG, for me it should be further out from the scales, and little bigger. Maybe it's my hands, but it's just not ergonomic for me.

I finally handled one today and I agree. I had a really hard time reverse flicking it because of the pocket clip position and small studs.

Absolutely my opinion. What I did to solve this issue was: use a little M2.5 or similar screw (I used a Brass one) and replace the original thumb studs with the screw and add two nuts per side. This makes it exactly the way it should be. A little bit higher and more grippy than the original one. Hope this can help you👍 best wishes from good old Germany 😉
